hey mate i went in april didnt get any films of songkran i was lazy but i spent it in bangkok unfortunately had to stay there to sort some stuff out at the embassy.. was still fun fews days tho did you make or film any of the footage? cause this vid was awesome be nice to see some more

Samui is definitely a great place to spend Songkran - I'm going back in April 2007 for Songkran again - will be spending some time in BKK and some down in the islands so I can try both places!

Pattaya is the best place for songkran because its the only place I know of that it lasts for 7 days.

It was Chaweng in Koh Samui - Songkran is typically just one day here, but elsewhere in Thailand it is over three days.
