  • i can't add music... well only some.. i never did have the wifi sync box checked...but it's syncing...

my friend had it checked and he tried unchecking it. but it would take off all his music........even though he had manually manage music........so this is what happens when Steve jobs dies...

  • Um, the whole restart iTunes; definitely the key. Geezus wish Apple would have made that step of restart know instead of having to dig through youtube for it. Thanks for the vid.

  • i feel so stupid after seeing this thanks for the info

  • wait nevermind....i did it....all you have to do is uncheck "sync ipod over wifi"......exit out....restart your computer....recheck "sync ipod over wifi"....and then it should work....Hopes this helps :)

  • @me1ization Good to know! haha

  • Yeah I think they need to fix it because it will sync to my brothers computer wirelessly, but not mines -___- and we have computers running the same system

  • HOW DO I DISABLE IT?! It's way to slow and its taking me hours to sync my msuic library! HELP

  • @KeatingSings same way you activate it lol.. UNCHECK the sync wireless to iphone under itunes

  • Please mention that you have to iOSX 10.6 or higher. It does not wrk for anything under that.

  • i couldn't get my wifi sync to my new iPhone 4s. i got the latest iTunes, IOS5. and i did all u said. and it did not work. what should i do? help me. i am only able to sync my music tru the cable to my laptop. :(

  • I think there is a bug in that, i can see the ipad and the phone in itunes but i can't sync wirelessly its always grayed out, only when i connect it with wire

  • @timeXway There might be. Seems like a dozen of you have that problem. I did have that problem, but i just restarted my computer and everything worked out fine

  • Wonderful video Tony. By the way..... Do u have and Apple Computer or Windows? I have Windows and am really having trouble syncing over wifi..... I heard that the wifi sync does not work with the Windows computers yet. Do u think that may be true? Thanks again....

  • @rprice0111 Thanks for the comment. I have a Windows computer and my ITunes sync works just fine. like i said in the video, sometimes i have to restart itunes but its works just fine for me. So no... its not true. Works on ALL devices and ALL computers.

  • i have problem with syncing! i cant sync any photos into my iphone, and also, when i check the box of songs and click sync, it says syncing but nothing goes into my phone! any idea on what is happening?? :(

  • im having that problem where it doesnt show up on itunes when i unplug it

  • I plug in my itouch, check the sync over wifi box, click apply then sync and unplug but then the device disappears and the sync via wifi option is greyed out :/ any ideas anyone ?

  • @JustCallMeButterr Same Problem!

  • @JustCallMeButterr same problem!! have u figured that out??

  • hey where'd you get that background on your iphone?

  • @JRod1599 I got the wallpaper from an Application called WallpappersHD It's FREE!

  • mine wont sync. i've tried so many times. i just want to smash my phone right now

  • @JayveeR59321 DONT SMACH IT!!! lol I understand your frustration, but dont give up. As a last resort, restore you phone and download iOS5 from Itunes and try it that way.

  • i have to update to 4.3.5 then update to ios5 ?

  • @TheBoss2998 nope. Just update whatever you have. Doesn't matter what firmware you're on now.

  • @Tis4Tony thanks but when i plug my iphone it say i have to update to 4.3.5 . it didn't say anything of ios5

  • @TheBoss2998 WHat? ok you're running on an OLD Itunes maybe? Upgrade all of your stuff, ITunes first then it should say, download the newest firmware which is ios5. Thats weird though.

  • @Tis4Tony i have itunes 10.5

  • @Tis4Tony i figured out. thanks anyway

  • dubstep

  • @ryju1 yeah pretty much. DS!

  • I am having the problem you mentioned. Unfortunately, restarting iTunes doesn't help too!

  • @palmaceously restart your computer and restart your iphone. Then open up itunes and make sure theres a mark where is says to activate wifi snycing. If it shows it's on, snyc right after that and when it's done, unplug your iphone and see if that works. That's what i had to do.

  • @Tis4Tony Thanks for your answer! However, the button "Syncronize now" on my iphone always turns grey and the device info on iTunes disappears when i unplug the phone :(

  • @palmaceously Thats weird. I had the SAME problem for about 15 minutes, i kept restarting itunes and my iphone. Eventually it started working for me, but when you do open itunes, it can take 5 minutes to recognize for some reason. maybe thats just me? lol . Also, if all else fails, restore your device and download the iOS5 on itunes which JUST came out today! Good luck.

  • @Tis4Tony Tony! It has just worked for me:P

I think it had something to do with my iCloud settings on the phone. I turned the iCloud-Backup off and when I got home and connect my phone to iTunes, the wireless sync worked. It won't turn grey and iTunes still detect the phone. Thanks for your help.

    I love your accent btw!
