Good vid! More please! Jacksonville Clifford Lane Station. Sometimes, there are a lot of people that get on at this station! Jacksonville needs to get back to Union Station ASAP!

Seems like it was even worse, back in the day, when there were more Florida trains! Ah, the good old days!

@SightseerLounge I think eventually they will. The only issue with Union Station is the fact trains would have to back into it.

@murjax That's why there has to be some kind of connection built so that trains can "loop" back to the mainlines while there is still room! This is what the original planners should have done. They'll regret it if they don't do it now. I know it!

I just back from Jacksonville yesterday i had a good time.We took the bus back to Deerfield,you were right about Maggino's it was delicous!!! took the train from Deerfield and we were 1 hour behind but it was fun.

Tomorrow i am going! i hope the weather in Jacksonville doesn't bother me and we should be arriving about 5:10 pm if the train is on time.

In Jacksonville i noticed those two railyards Csx and Fec and it's really big! no wonder it's was so big! i made request from Publix and i will check my schdule from work.Another 5 stars for you!

Yeah Jacksonville has huge yards. They have to be for the 3 railroads that converge here. I just wish they would get some better passenger rail. There's plenty of good trackage to support it.

The restarunt we are going to is Maggino's and i love italin food! we are leaving from Deerfield on dec 2 we should be arriving in Jacksonville 5:10pm.I work for publix i have to make request for 2 days off.

THAT'S MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT! I go there every year for my birthday. Maggiano's is located inside this nice outside mall called St. John's Town Center. You're gonna love it.

Great job! That would be TTX's railcar repair facility that you filmed while CSX's Moncrief Yard was just behind you. Besides Moncrief, Bowden, and TTX, there's also Simpson Yard which serves Norfolk Southern. Bowden Yard by the way is several miles to the south of Moncrief on the south side of Jacksonville. Hope this helps!

Thanks. Yeah I thought Bowden was several miles south of Downtown. I didn't know TTX had a repair facility here and I didn't know Norfolk Southern even served Florida.

Wow I remember my last Amtrak trip two years ago on 91 when we were passing through that TTX facility and I saw the massive strings of TTX flats that seemed endless it was all amazing although I can't remember it well.

Thanks. This yard is the last real sight you see on this train until you get to northern Virginia. Everything between Jacksonville and there is just farms and really small towns.

@murjax True! Although, I love coming into Florence, South Carolina, around the big curve. It's just something about Florence that has grown on me in the last couple of years. I believe there is a hotel that you can see behind the station. I'll check! Maybe, that is reason! I can stay up until Florence! LOL!

I've also seen the Auto Train on a couple of occasions! I love looking up into the Superliners.

Oh, now I get it LOL. Yeah this is my old ghetto town. It's screwed up, even more so than the weird town I live in now. It took me 45 minutes to travel 10 miles in this stupid city.
