  • I'm going to try this tomorrow Guys. This will be the recipe to my new raw cereal. I know it will be delicious.

  • WOW!!! Love the video, never thought of granola this way. Will be try'n it. THANX

  • I thought grains were bad for you? causing inflammation?

  • Great video! I'm sprouting some seeds right now, and think I'll make some raw granola like this. @AlanSunrider, food is considered raw when the enzymes are preserved. Dehydrating is a way to do this and most people use a temp of 115 +/- to preserve the enzymes while giving food a 'cooked' texture.

  • This guy is way too excited, very annoying

  • Wish I owned a dehydrator. don't think I'd use it much though... dehydrated foods tear my stomach/GI up. I prefer moist foods. This looks very easy to make. THX for sharing!!!

  • so heres a question guys. if youre cooking your granola at 115 how is that considered raw?

  • What if you don't own a dehydrator ?

  • Looks yummy!

  • K I made this today, oats, s+d almonds, pumpkin seeds, honey, maple syrup, agave, coconut, and coconut oil. It tasted AMAZING! I kept eating it and eating it, however I put it in the dehyrator and I come home and it smells like actual vomit in my kitchen, like I'm gagging from the smell. So I get over it and try it, and it tastes just as bad as the smell. What the ???

  • @UGlory you clearly dont Love the show , cuz thats the Trademark and BEST part of the introduction . and YEAH right,, he's gonna change it JUST for you... when all the rest of us enjoy it . its HIS choice to do it , and nobody else has a problem with it apart from the other losers who are lifeless Like YOU . Get real... *slap slap* get back in touch with reality !

  • Why would you ever Cook your greens? ,, there so full of life when they raw... altho i did hear sometimes cooking or steaming them would help to bring out certain nutrients you dont get from Raw greens.. NICE GRANOLA RECIPE :D

  • Can I use the oven or sun dry the granola? I dont have a dehydrater :/ I am not even sure if u can sun dry granola lol

  • what the fuck is this granola bullshit!!! that girls a definite milf tho

  • Anne Marie, your hair is gorgeous! Good genes, or do you have a secret the rest of us could use? -The wifey

  • I probably wouldn't add any sugar based sweeteners like honey... not very healthy, and plus honey kind of freaks me out, after doing some research on the methods of how it's produced--that plus the fact that it's sugar keeps me far away! >.< However this sounds delicious and I'd love to try it date paste/syrup or something :) Genius recipe! :)

  • These two drive me nuts!

  • Agave for honey and it's Vegan as well.

  • i cant get past the first few seconds

  • Almond Coconut Keefer, blueberries, raspberries, apple, and figs. The BEST combo for me!

  • Thank you so much for this video!!!!!! This is very interesting! but how long can you keep the mix for if you don't dehydrate it???

  • Mango! Definitely mango! :))

  • YUM!

  • Kevin, use a tripod!

  • how do you get the shells off the sprouted sunflower seeds??

  • @908742536 They are dehulled already when you buy them.

  • PINE NUTS!!!!!!!

  • Kevin sounds like my husband, food disappearing from the dehydrator *LOL*. disappearing food.

    Almond mylk and nutmeg.

  • Loved it!

  • awesome recipe. Thanks for showing us how to do it... Hope you don't mind I shared it on my blog. Keep up the great work... btw- while at first I was annoyed by your loud intro, ha ha- there is more than one person who feels that way! well- I have come to appreciate it very much- it fits you- lots of fun.

  • The good news is it's good for you, the bad news is you arrived late at work after all these hours spend preparing your breakfast.

  • @ameetcoeur I was thinking the same thing! LOL Luckily you can make a big batch over the weekend and have it for a week.

  • Made my granola, but didn't have any shredded coconut. After reading about the rancid coconut oil after dehydrating, I left that out, too & really don't miss it. I added a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds to my mix and that worked out really tasty. Had some for breakfast this morning with macadamia nut mylk, bluberries & banana and was pretty awesome!! Just had some dry from the jar and it's so yummy it may not live to see another bowl of mylk. So fragrant & crunchy... yum is all I can say :)

  • I cashew butter to mine

  • you two are adorable!!

  • honey, vanilla rice milk, sliced banana, dried prunes and strawberries yum yum!!

  • I wish I could eat this. I'd never had allergies till this week when I bought myself some healthy goraw buckwheat granola for breakfast. In two days of eating it for breakfast I was puffed right up with hives and welts all over my body. Any trick to becoming unallergic? this looks so delicious.

  • @angelcdp If you think the buckwheat is the culprit, you could just leave it out of this grawnola recipe and maybe substitute with something else. I made mine without the sprouted oats as I didn't have any, but I added some chia seeds to the mix. Just try a different combination and you'll be amazed how scrumptious it is :)

  • YOu guys are lots of fun! thanks!

  • mmmm i would totally put some raw almond milk over it with some fresh sliced bananas. and use agave nectar instead of honey since i'm a raw vegan. :)

  • @jlynx5 Agave is horrible so high in Fructose. And Raw vegan is a unnatural diet that humans were never meant to be on

  • @Amoney100 haha just listen to yourself. :)

  • @jlynx5 You can take w/e diet choice you want. But Agave is high in fructose and thats a fact.

  • @Amoney100 you sound like a fucking idiot. go back to your cave. RAW VEGAN FOR LIFE!

  • @denisonM Ok dude. Gl with your life on that diet.

  • sprouted buckwheat is toxic.

  • Nope, just the leaves. I looked it up.

  • they didn't say best vegan raw granola they said best raw granola

  • thanks...i love watching you 2...not only that I learn a lot from you..but you are sooo entartaining ...

  • Crystalized Ginger would please

  • Awesome Im gonna try some soon!

  • this is not a negative..just a thought.. the music is a bit offputting..really trying to hear what you are saying. xx

  • their cool. i make granola to, but with plain oatmeal, almonds, cashews, walnuts, brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon. i grind it up and have it with soy milk. it taste good. some times i'll just make a shake out of it when i'm in a rush

  • i make raw granola with oatmeal, almonds, cashews, walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. i don't dry it, i just grind it in a food processor and have it with soy milk and it taste great.

  • My coco oil always goes rancid in the dehydrator. Every time! I've tried all brands of raw, cold-pressed virgin coco oil. So I can only use it in fresh recipes...

  • what if i dont have a dehydrator?

  • Why bother dehydrating? Like she said, "I wanna dive in already" when it was still moist & sticky. I wanted to dive in too.

Get your minds out of the gutter folks. Don't bother thumbing me down. Wholesome intentions--I promise. ;-)

  • @reforest4fertility You don't have to dehydrate foods if you don't want to. Eating dehydrated foods require you to drink a lot of water with them so you are just rehydrating them. Some items you dehydrate for storage, otherwise it is for tricking your mind into thinking your are eating 'normal food'. It is a good thing to do if you are new to raw food diets and transitioning, but after awhile you get used to eating raw food whole or non-dehydrated.

  • I think some warmed, runny raw cacao butter , roughly mixed so it's not completely chocolate, also, chopped walnuts & chopped grapes, would be gr8 to, added to it before dehydrating. Thanx for posting, great vid !!

  • In addition, once heat has been applied to food, doesnt it compromise the the "raw" state and thereby dispute the whole point of raw foodism?

  • No, the point is to eat living food. If the temperature is low enough the food will still be alive, just as if it it's sundried. You do not actually cook it in the dehydrator, just change the consistency by removing the water.

  • Honestly the whole dehydrating thing makes me wonder if it's just a glorified oven. I mean, heat is still applied to the food so wuts the dif?

  • The reason that dehydrators are not such a big deal has to do with the temperature. At abo

  • I thought at temp.'s at 115 and above start killing enzymes. Wouldn't it be better to dehydrate at a lower temp. for a longer time to get the most nutritional value out of the food?

  • I do want to go raw soon. I wonder if a dehydrator is necessary. I mean I wouldn't know what to do with it. I got a blander and I never use it. Raw foods taste best how nature made them and I don't really like foods all blended together.

  • You may be right . When it comes to conventional cooking Im great with adding flavor and finding it where you least expect it ,but when it comes to raw food , to be honest I dont have a clue . I also need to invest in a dehydrator , I know that would help alot ! Thanx a million for the comment !

    Namaste

  • I would recommend agave nectar instead of honey,

  • I am so confused on the subject. Can you elaborate on why agave instead of honey? Thank you in advance.

  • its not really a health issue as much as an ethical issue. But there it also has a lower glycemic index and its just safe. And that honey contains a bacteria that secretes toxins and therefore shouldn't be ingested by the youngones. But to tell you the truth, I dont want the toxins either... :)

  • dekitai20,

Thank you for taking time to explain.

  • Thank you guys for making such nice videos!

  • LOL there wasn't very much left to show us at the end, huh...?? Out of that big bowl, there was just a little bowl left. ROFL! :D

  • Thanks for making this, you inspired me to make my own Raw Food Bars instead of buying them at the health food store. It will probably save me a small fortune, so again thanks a lot.

  • somebody check this guy for drugs! hehe

  • Yummy I;m going to try this!

  • I like to put little bits of cacoa nibs in mine.

  • I successfully sprouted using a pizza pan with holes for my sunflower seeds and I used my dehydrator trays with parchment paper for the buckwheat. I just put them on a shelf singularly and rinsed every twice (8 hrs) and they sprouted just perfect. so i'm living proof that you don't have to buy expensive "sprouting" trays. $25??? i don't think so. I also don't have an expensive dehydrator and it works just fine. so if you don't have a lot of money, theres a few tips.

  • where do you get whole raw oats. my store only has steele cut. and ordering online is EXPENSIVE shipping!

  • blueberries!

  • I SO wish I could eat RAW . Im organic , but I just dont like enough things to eat raw . It always looks and smells good , but as soon as I put it in my mouth I just dont like it!

  • have you ever heard of acquired taste? you can learn to like something. cut down on sugar foods and you will find your mouth more sensitive to naturally sweet raw foods. It really worked for me.

  • I have often wondered if that was something that really works , I have always heard the phrase , but always thought it was just that . Thankyou for the tip !! I will deff. keep that in mind !

  • Yum Yum Yum!!! I would add dried blueberries and fresh strawberries.

  • That looks awesome!! Rock on you two! :0)

  • Thanks Kevin, this looks awesome!

  • That looks great! I also have those little house elves who eat my treats at night too!! I love dried banana chips.

  • Mmmm! With crispy dehydrated apple chips!

  • Maybe some like Dried blueberries and adding Flaxseeds/meal

  • Looks good! Nice touch with the background music
