I had 70,000+, then a huge crash where I lost over half of it.. but it's going back up again nearly to 45,000 again... I desperately needed this video. Games and vitual worlds allow you to be anything, it doesnt really mean that's what you are or what your personality is, sometimes people just try something to try it. I just tried SL yesterday, but mine runs pretty fast(assuming I'm understanding you lol). My avatar is lost somewhere - lol I 'slept' in a park somewhere (beautiful), but I seem to be running very fast, in spite of my 'in-world' naivety.

it takes a little while for everything to rez (appear) it happens to everyone and as far as i know there is no solution...dont give your Ls away!! go spend them on yourself and next time you have a problem just ask someone...most people will probably ignore you lol but some people are more than happy to help :)

This is an amazing tutorial. I've found in just a few weeks that opening multiple screens and sorting is a good way to spend the afternoon camping ;) especially if it's a comfortable chair.

that was awesome. I'm new to SL and stumbled over this. To be honest--and this is a compliment I promise :)-- I didn't actually learn anything but a few spiffy options that i would have picked up on in the next week... but I was very much entertained by this :) Your rambling tutorial style is ver y similar to my own thought patterns and I loved the helpful on screen notes. A word of caution though about putting items into a cube. It's been a known issue that when you rez or drag an item out from that cube you'll get a message. "Missing from server" and you'll never ever get it back. Not everything will be missing just what the server randomly chooses.

Hm, I just had an idea. I think in the future a nice upgrade to the inventory would be more like a computer interface maybe.... Like with pictures. Because one of the reasons I have such a hard time with my inventory is things have the craziest names and I can't see what it is w/o wearing and or opening it. :(
