@eniamrahc73 Interpretation's up to you. I see it as something so simple and necessary as flowers can always be sold as a commodity, which is sort of what capitalism today has gone to. Do we not commodify water? Food? Clothing? Shelter? Shelter's architecture, no matter how simple (ex. minimalist), is still being sold for ridiculous prices. Flowers, here, are simple, yet the man wants to buy them. This is my interpretation, I'm sure there are others.
