no i wouldn't say so. mark e smith is well known for his powers of seeing into the future. powder keg is a song about a bomb going off in manchester written 6 months or so before it happened, also wrote a song about terry waits just before he got kidnapped. that's true you can check it out on the net. i'm suggesting two librians is another such insight song. the refrences are very coded but I think it's an intresting observation. it was pointed out to me by a fall fan at a party resently.

I loved that band but no-one else i knew gave a shit about them, i was well impressed when i saw that. respect! also i made a comment a year ago about this video which seems to have got loads of negative comments, i actually think the video is great, i was just saying it's really intense, but that's a good thing!!

Yeah! Arcwelder are a great band. But as i'm sure you know, bands of a certain ilk tend not to get the attention they deserve. Plus since the loss of John Peel there's not many out there who'll give real talent a chance. It's the sheep mentality that's the problem, they just soak up the celebrity wannabe chart fodder because it's fed to them 24/7.

Folk like us are in the minority, it's the way it's always been. But as long as we can tell the difference between cool & crap, that'll do for me.
