Also, are there any holes I would have to drill to stick the bolt in the end plug? Very nice work. I am receiving this exact camera sometime in the mail, I am fortunate I came across this video :]
Haha alright i'll try it. I've been looking all day for a simple, less expensive steadicam but have been stuck on trying to find a gimbal mechanism. I'll be sure to try this out. Thanks!
Are you holding the grip a certain way? I see you have no gimbal and you're running but the video does not bounce up and down. Sorry if it's kinda self-explanitory, I'm still new to capturing video.
@lovewomensharemoney You hold it in the center of balance. For my setup it's pretty much in the middle of the vertical handle. Sometimes you'll hold a bit higher or lower depending on where most of the weight is, but you're just trying to grab it where it's most evenly balanced. It's easy, try it.
did you make it so you can take it apart or did you glue it together?

The situations where you're holding the camera upside down, are you flipping it in post?

You are a really intelligent guy to figure this out on your own. I envy you. The angles are very spot-on and professional.
