Turn off the traction control. That will allow you to put the tranny in S6 for much faster shifting. Then after you press the paddle to shift to a higher gear, slightly lift your foot off the gas, then mash it.

It is still a manual tranny. Even though the BMW guys say you dont have to. It still works way better when operating the gas pedal like you would on a normal manual car.

Get all that right and you will drastically improve your shift speed over this.
