Fender Tweed Deluxe 5D3 from 1954

Hi, auf Dein Video hin habe ich einen 5D3 erworben. Er ist noch nicht angekommen. Kann mir vorstellen, dass auch Dir die Qual der Wahl (5B3/5C3) durch den Kopf ging. Wie ist Deine Meinung zum Deluxe 5B3?

Ich habe noch nie einen 5B3 gespielt.

Der 5D3 klang für sich genommen gar nicht so überragend, hat aber per Mikro diesen Sweet-Sound aufs Band gebracht. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass alle alten Fender Amps unterschiedlich klingen. Deshalb ist es schwer Pauschalurteile zu geben. Ich habe gerade kürzlich über einen Blackface Princeton Reverb gespielt, der mir überhaupt nicht gefallen hat.

hallo ich hab mal ne frage. ich hab mir vor einer woche meinen ersten vintage amp gekauf. einen JBL 1959 fender 5e3 deluxe tweed 85 watt. ich hab jedoch gesehen das er einen neuen JBL speaker professional series drin hat. ist das für den sound schlimm? also währe ein originaler speaker besser? ich möchte natürlich aus diesem amp den bestmöglichen klang herausholen. währe nett wenn du antworten würdest LG

plenty of delay/reverb added to help get that tone...

delay and reverb make the sound deeper but the tone without reverb and delay would be the same.

You just can record what you get....
