I loooove highlighters too, probably one of my favorite products (but then again I say that about everything :D) I have a lot too, I also use light eyeshadows as highlighters all the time. @Icklepixie1 Yep, it creased. Maybe if I apply primer and then a light shadow and THEN put some of the LM over it. I'm still happy either way - it's so pretty. I'm sure lightscapade will come around again. Or watch blog sales. :)

Quite a nice collection! I had been ignoring my highlighters for a couple months but maybe the colder, dry weather I was feeling the need for a little extra glow and started using them a bunch again.

I like the LORAC Spotlight for a very subtle warm sheen (on my NC15 or less skin), MAC cream color base in Pearl but can't use when skin is very dry or it'll catch on it, NARS Albatross because I love gold shimmer (LOVE), Physicians Formula Happy Boosters in Transluscent for pearly subtle shine.

A random comment, you may remember we were talking about finding the perfect brush for the Chanel Bronze Universal.

I think I have found it (for me anyway). It is the Samantha Chapman "Real Techniques" BUFFING brush.

It is a very soft, synthetic brush that doesn't shed & does a beautiful job of blending the Chanel product out. I LOVE IT.

I bought it as part of a set from the UK website but you guys can get it from Ulta and it's cheap as chips.

I highly recommend it.

As far as the brush goes, I paid a small fortune for the set through the website & I really felt like I had been ripped off. I did write to the company but of course I didn't get a response.

The BUFFING brush is very versatile & imo, the only one worth getting. I have tried maybe 6 or 7 different brushes with the Bronze Universal and the Buffing brush is by far the best.

Thanks for the review, so much gorgeousness! I am definitely going to check out the MAC Strobe Cream, that looks like it would be a great product for all over illumination.

I have a ton of highlighters too but my favourites are definitely cream. I accidently found a fantastic product made by a UK company called Collection 2000 and it cost me less than $3. I have 3 in different colours and they are all absolute perfection and dupes (imo) for Nars Multiples.

@jalapena2007 I got a sample of the Strobe Cream & then I saw the price. Unfortunately I tried the cream & I LOVE it so it is on my hit list for next year.

The Collection 2000 Face & Body Illumuniser is truly amazing & it does last for ages. My colouring is a NW20ish & all 3 colours are simply perfect for me.

I checked eBay before I wrote this & you can still get these from UK sellers. The only colour I did not get was PALM BEACH, it looked way too orange for me.

Loved watching hun. I love the Mac lightscapade so much I got a backup. I use it w/ the pink porcelain that came out w/ it recently & it's 1 of my fav highlighter looks. I just picked up that Laura Mercier illuminator & it is sooo pretty. I do not need another highlighter but they r so hard 2 resist, thus I doubt my stash will not continue 2 pile up& watching ur vid makes me feel slightly less guilty!: D

I have a little box that I fill up every week with things that I havent used in awhile that I want to use that week. I make myself use them that way everything in my collection gets used. I throw a few basic things out on my vanity too every sunday that I make myself you. Its hard when you have a big collection to use everything so thats the only thing I could think of to do to make it easier for me to get through everything.

Hi Heidi, love your loom here. You look beautiful. I ha e the strobe cream. Is it best to use as scream or to mix in with foundation or to use as a primer?. I have the LM candlelight and I went to get the LM rose they were all sold out. The sales girl had told me that candle light and rose are very similar. What do you think?. Great video thx

@232emma I like it just under the foundation all over or just on the cheekbones after foundation. I've just swatched both side by side and have to say that they're similar in tone but RR is a tad darker and much more metalic while CL is more sheer and has more sparkle. Hope that helps.

Hello heidi! I just recently bought the mac pigment u mentioned in ur taupe taupeia ;) video called sweet sienna. I love it! It is however my first mac pigment so I'm at a loss as to how to put together a good eye look with it. I would love it if it would be possible for u to do a look using that pigment :) I am very fair with green eyes if that helps. Also if I somehow missed a video of your where you did this already sorry :-S

You may want to check out the MAC Prep & Prime illuminator pens. If you get it in "Radiant Rose" you can use it as a under eye corrector as well as a very natural looking highlighter. When blended out it makes you look like your naturally illuminated without wearing makeup. It's similar to the YSL Touche Eclat but more affordable=]
