  • awesome sound! claps enthusiastically!

  • AWESOME!

  • WOW!!!! ... on the harmonies!!!!!! Nice. There must be a set of sisters in there somewhere for harmonies to be that tight. Geez. Sweet sound.

    And great driving drums!

  • Great drumming as well.

  • Is there a studio version of this?...

  • To by mě taky zajímalo.

  • Not yet, though it is a possibility for a new release in 2011.

  • @itsmypartygirlgroup So... Any hope for that New release?

  • @itsmypartygirlgroup Don't let it sound electronic please.

  • I have always loved this song. The musical arrangement is quite good, I especially like the rhythm and flute. Also, the girls harmonize beautifully. Were you classsically trained for the opera, taught individually, church choirgirls. or members of a glee club?

  • I think this is the same arrangement that the Johnsons used when they released it - but a little bit faster, and maybe a bit less Irish. I think it's great. The B-side to the Johnsons one was "Urge for Going" and it's even better. Not on Youtube though as far as I can find it...

  • The group just came together; two girls attended the same school. They did not sing as a group before It's My Party.

  • itsmypartygirlgroup:

Thanks for replying. I started studying classical piano at 5,joined a choir at 8 and love music. Can't throw a stick amongst friends OR family without hitting an amateur or professional musician.Hence my curiosity. Also, my favorite all-female band, The Donnas, formed their band as 8th graders and went on tour during their last year of high school. Keep singing!

  • hey reality check its the year 2008

  • Hey, this is actually pretty good. Keep at it, girls.

  • love this song, keep it up girls

  • Wonderful singing girls.

  • Absolutely heavenly!

    MRHA

  • I always enjoyed this musical entity but don't they switch members often?

  • This is a teen girl group

  • I bought two singles by you roughly ten years ago. I just picked up "R.S.V.P." from the CD Exchange. Do you perform in Rochester itself?

  • Thanks for purchasing our CD! Yes, we perform in Rochester during the summer, and although I can not post a webpage in a comment section of youtube, you can find a link to our site on our youtube page. Simply go to our events link.

  • wow you lot are awsome you have the x factor

  • 60's music is way better than the stuff from today, I hate Rap and RnB, they dominate the music field and think they have skill, when really it's complete and utter tripe.

  • Okay Mr. Raincloud.

I have to say I agree, though.

  • Quote: American Idol divas, Beyonce, Christina, Fergie, etc. - learn from these young, modest girls proving the power of melody, harmony, and a steady pitch. Whoever arranged this version should rearrange the music industry."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Are you kidding? They're nowhere near the league of American Idol status.

  • I like this song and you sound good together. great vocals.

  • American Idol divas, Beyonce, Christina, Fergie, etc. - learn from these young, modest girls proving the power of melody, harmony, and a steady pitch. Whoever arranged this version should rearrange the music industry.

  • great stuff. this is my favorite arrangement of this song - nicely done girls. good luck!

  • Excellent!

    I love it!!

    YES!!!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • EXCELLENT! I enjoyed this very much...you girls are awesome, great harmonies... wonderful song to listen to and so refreshing in todays world.

Thanks so much and keep the good music going:)

  • nice

  • You girls rock, and whoever your musical director/arranger is, he or she deserves some major props for re-imagining "Both Sides Now" as a 1963 girl group record, complete with Jack Nietzche arrangement and Hal Blaine on drums.

  • Each generation gets the music they deserve.

  • This good and very well performed.Amazing.Thanks.Nuff Said.

  • I wasn't alive in the era of this music, I was born in 73', but I must say, music of the 50's, 60's and 70's was the BEST! I am so disgusted of today's "music", like Britney Spears, ect. who concentrate more in showing skin and trashy lirics. Back then artists had REAL talent and I am glad to see these pretty young girls doing this kind of music, they're GREAT!

  • Hey your group is terrific! Nice sound and a nice stage presence. Do you have any music available??

  • Fun arrangement that brings a different dimension to this familiar songs, plus great harmonies. I wish the sound quality were better, or that there were a studio version of you doing this arrangement.

You should be very proud of yourselves!

  • Nice to see youngsters appreciating music and styles of the 60's,keep it up!

On the negative side will someone tell the drummer he's needed back on the door, some trouble makers are trying to get in.

  • Excellent! It's always good to see members of the younger generation appreciating the music from the 60's, 70's.

You guys have talent and potential. Keep up the good work and follow your dreams.

  • very good i must say.................

  • What a pleasant surprise! Young girls displaying reverence and respect for an era that to them is ancient history. Wish the quality was better.

  • They're great! Sounds like a cross between the Ronettes and the Shangri-Las.

  • I'm glad I found this. Where can i get more on this group?

  • with time these gels will be great.Love the outfits and the 60s feel. GO FOR IT GELS

  • You girls are great!! You take me back to a much better time in my youth. Thank you for bringing back memories!! Dont stop doing what youre doing!!!

  • You girls are Awsome!!! It takes me back to to much better time in my youth. Dont stop singing . You girls are going places!!--Well Done!!!

  • dont listen to bad coments.original.all good.me and tommy think your sexy.plus good singers obviously,

  • There are worse things on YouTube than this video, but not by much. Listen to Judy Collins if you want to hear this song done right.

  • Without doubt one of the best enjoyable performances i have seen on youtube.

  • Good work. Keep up your music. Don't forget praise and worship.

  • wow i wasnt looking for this, but great performance !

  • Cool!! Glad to see young people doing real music!!

  • I like this arrangement. Some other versions drag a bit too much. Very nice job ladies!

  • I like it, good song and performance. I can even hear that spector wall of sound. Great job

  • The look is great etc, but this song is supposed to be soft and emotional, not 60s poppy :/

  • Awesome. Whoever arranged this piece did a great job. If I did'nt know better I would have sworn the piece had been produced by Phil Spector himself. I really enjoy hearing these young ladys sing and would love to see them live. will they be around the boston or cape area any time soon?

  • Wow. If you all sound this good live, you'd rip it up in a recording studio. Great job!

  • Wow!! Joni Mitchell meets Phil Spector's wall of sound. I wasn't exactly looking for this, but I'm mighty glad I found it. This is so inventive, unique and awesome !!

  • Good work you, you all!

  • very nice....you got the 60's look down-pat!

  • Great job, best of wishes. Movement is fluid, vocals are on key...you ladies have IT.
