  • That sicko Ann Coulter should be put inside in that blown up nuclear plant in Fukushima and left to die like a bitch she is. I don't know what the hell is in her psycho mind but what I know it's not what any intelligent human would think.

  • What u know fool....i put radiation on my fruit loops in the morning and i aint doing so bad...now i must amit i ain't got no hair left and my fingernails are falling out,but i sure do feel damn fine, i radiate good health....and i glow in the dark. Now if you ain't man enough to give up a little hair and a fingernail or 2 to be able to glow in the dark you NEED to re-watch Ann's report again!!

  • awesome...you have done your homework...peace! mp

  • Anne Coulter is right radiation is the shit, who doesn't want a child with 3 arms and no eyes.

  • I saw pieces of that thing with Gupta and it was pretty unsettling... :(

  • The Dumbing down of America begun lon ago and is now fibnished. Now only jokes left.

attention not a joke, this is deadly serious - to get this joke with Coulter as messenger:

    google

illuminati jokes you will get jokes for the human cattle at~ illuminati-jokes DOT blogpspot DOT c o m

  • Ann Coulter's argument sounds to me like saying there are cases of people falling thousands of feet without dying, therefore jumping off a tall building is not necessarily bad for you. Further, some of those survivors appreciate their life more after surviving such a fall, therefore the evidence shows that jumping off a tall building can be good for you. Pure PR spin.

Could the biggest threat to understanding science be the Public Relations industry?

  • A quick google search will produce articles from Discover magazine, BBC and other sources in which scientists claim, backed by studies, that some radiation is better than no radiation. That's what the scientists say. And small doses of arsenic are better than no arsenic at all. Do you realize that the sun emits radiation? That's not to say that there are not dangerous levels of radiation in Japan, but the media makes no attempt to quantify the levels. Is 1 hr exposure more than a dental xray?

  • @CougarFanboy....the suns radiation is different than what came out of the nuclear plant.....and I have melanin in my skin which protects from the suns rays as long as I don't sun bathe.....as far as the studies from whoever that claim a little radiation is good you.....I can gurantee you whatever they claim the posititve health benefits of this radiation are...you can find a natural homeopathic solution that is far better.

  • @adizzle64 Bullshit. No amount of radiation is good for you. Any amount of alpha, beta, gamma, or xray radiation causes cell damage. The only beneficial effect might be in the damage of dna which maybe perhaps have a random effect of assisting animals to evolve. Radiation might be the primary evolutionary agent that causes evolutionary change over time.

  • @nsecchi Google "radiation hormesis". In point of fact, many scientists believe, just as Ann Coulter asserted, that small amounts of radiation are more healthy than no radiation at all.

  • @adizzle64 Homeopathic solutions are diluted to levels where it's equivalent to one drop in the sea, in short it's just water. It's purely placebo. Do some reading on it :) I have a feeling you mistook "homeopathic" to mean something else?

  • @CougarFanboy The earth maintains a robust shield against harmful radiation. If you mean that heat radiation comes from the sun that is correct. However the earth is shielded from just the type of radiation from the sun that is emitted from a nuclear power station in meltdown.

  • @nsecchi Have you ever heard of UV rays? They're not all shielded by earth's "robust shield", as anyone with a sunburn can attest. A little radiation that goes all the way through the body isn't too bad in small amounts. Sometimes doctors beam radiation to stop cancer cells. No one is arguing that the radiation levels in Japan are dangerous in some areas. But that doesn't negate Ann Coulter's point.

  • Radiation is good for you dude. You must be making some sort of mistake. Why would it be in the New York Times if it wasn't true? Im going to get me a big bag of radiation and save it for emergencies. I heard it works as an antidote to nuclear bombs going off and giving you radiation. You know, just the way they cure things with vaccines by giving us the disease. Just trust this woman...she's probably telling the truth. Prescription drugs are very important to the economy, dont talk about them!

  • @HumanSayNo your use of satire is great, however I think people who would believe coulter would just see this comment and not be able to distinguish what you really mean. ah well, sucks for them.
