Steady bass stuff. I think u keep it in time pretty well!
That basic Jazz Bass is good choice for many different music styles. You don't necessarily need more than 4 strings. Let's keep it basic and not go too "hifi" (meaning >4 strings). Never quit playing. There will be times when you don't have motivation to practice (atleast i have had). At those points it is important to find something to raise motivation like: nice effects, new kind of strings (new sound) or better friends to play with!
