it would have helped to show us the hooking up of the 3 RCA cables for those of use who are not totally computer and TV hookup savvy. That is the most important part!!!
With composite, S-Video, and component outputs you could hook this up to an external "live" recorder like a VCR w/ S-VHS or DVD burner to make your own copies.

Currently all i have at my house is 1.5mb download speed. for 15 bucks i can upgrade to 12.5mb. there are 4 people at my house. so is 12mb enough bandwidth for all of us? and how fast does it need to be for HD video streams and online gaming? if you our any one can help please do respond.

I just got my Roku box last week... What do you think of yours so far? What is your internet speed? Cuz i have mine via wireless... just trying to find out if it would work w/ a slower internet connection (for HD)

I cannot say how much I love this Roku player! You can't even tell it's streaming over wifi.
