what's the problem about the relations between RP and DPRK, is it bad because DPRK is a socialist country and RP has US bases?

there's no problem at all, philippines wanted only peace agreement to north korea because rp was one of the allies of south korea in korean war.

There's no problem between the RP and DPRK at all, yet, they have some issues that need to be discussed. It is somewhat like an initiation act of the Philippines to be the pioneer peacekeeper in case another war or probably a nuclear war breaks out. The Philippines like most other nations want and try to talk with North Korea's unprecedented act diplomatically to avoid an imminent war.
