As far as the people saying that Republicans don't care about farmers, I don't know what kind of farm you've been on. My grandparents have been farmers their whole lives, and they have to keep up with EVERYTHING in the farm business, and the democratic politicians don't give a damn. They don't return calls or anything. The Republican representatives are the only ones that listen to their issues and actually BRING THEM UP in Senate/House meetings, and fight until the farmers' rights are secure!

They have never gotten any sort of response from a democratic representative. The republicans don't just say they'll help as a generalization. They contact other area farmers, get all the specifics, and they make it happen! At least, that's the way it works in Arkansas. They work WITH the farmers.
