@trajkovski1993 ...eat clean, rest lots, train with intensity such that you know you couldnt possibly give any more- then let your genetics do the rest...thats all you can do...but most of all, make sure you have fun and enjoy the ride. 99% of competitors never get past 7m, let alone 8m.
wow. 6.96 60m and 7.37 lj. very impressive. im a 30 year t&f fan and ex pro and amateur competitor and ran at states and nationals and like to think ive seen it all...you've got talent...but you're 17 now right?...need to be chasing 8m and sub 11 100s to go further..im sure you know.
nice jumping. you do need to get faster like most others said. You also tend to lean a little forward while running. If you run more upright and run with your hips forward then this will cause you to run faster. I personally would concentrate more on your speed, and ease off a little on the jumping in practice to save your legs. Do jumping drills instead. You will always have your jumping ability, it is natural, but speed you have to work on.
your form is good. you cycle your arms around perfectly while you're in the air and extend well. get that 100m time down into the 10.X and you'll get 7.8X meters no problem.
oh yeah, i forgot to ask, to me it looks like your using Irving Saladino form. If that's the right one then I just want to ask is that a good and easy form to use?
one of the easier forms to do is something called the hang technique. it dosnt require as much time in the air to get your body in position for landing. i would research that
I'm 15 now and my best Jump so far in the long is 23'8.5" and in the triple it's 48'.08"

how long is your runway? Try moving it back to generate more speed.

anyway, I'm trying to find a form that's easy for jumpers like me and that form your doing, is it easy?

I think that was the technique he was refering to as the "saladino form" .. Andreas is using the hang technique aswell.
