i know when i saw it i was like "why is this here?" but it kept me so dazzled and amazed...i loved it...i guess this is how Southland Tales works...it's bullshit, but it's good bullshit...hmmm...Richard Kelly is a genius...

@ultimatekai This scene is about them three realizing the world is gonna end, they're gonna die and there is nothing they can do about it. Like Krysta said, "It had to be this way". It's also about the three of them coming to terms with each other, loving each other, and saying their goodbyes before they die. That's what makes this scene beautiful yet tragic. It also shows how much of a genius Richard Kelly is.
