  • Sit, bacon... sit.

  • It actually wags it's tail like a dog.

  • One cool pig! But my dog is cooler

  • Wow

  • "Mud-slinger?"

  • is the dude judge replacement eric from that 70's show?

  • smart pig, i think imma keep him for entertainment and leave his sister for ham

  • OMG what a smart pig

  • Most pigs are actually this smart and capable of learning tricks far more difficult than this. Pigs are the most intelligent domestic animals in the world, far more so than dogs or cats. They lead complex social lives. Some studies estimate their cognitive ability to be that of a 3 year old child. Its a real shame that most of them spend their lives in cages where they can't even turn around. Its up to human beings to recognize the degree to which they are suffering and stop contributing to it!

  • And there are dusgusting people who actually eat this!

  • ¿y mi perro que hace?, nada .___.

  • Smart piggy....Oink! Oink!

  • People don't really see bacon when they look at pigs. Unless 1. You're a fatass and everything looks like food to you or 2. You're just trying to get attention =)

  • That is so cute. I seriously don't understand how people can eat them :(

  • That pig wouldnt last an hour alone with me and a grill

  • ewww i hate pigs

  • @RemiTa1st Then why are you here if the title obviously says smart pig.

  • piggy piggy piggy

  • This is cute but..... this makes me don't want to eat pork !! but next minute there's pork for dinner then one mouthful later you just realize : OO no i just ate pork !! next thing you'll know oh just forget about it and carry on eating lol . well thats me dunno about you people.

  • Pigs are the smartest domesticated animals. so this pig is not a genius in the pig world!

  • And why do people eat these animals? They're friendly and smart! Just because they arn't as pretty as dogs they get no love, instead they get the slaughterhouse. I'm 32 years old and I've never put a single morsel of pork in my mouth. The world needs to open their minds and their hearts to these things!!

  • @slick88zx Because they are tasty :]

  • @slick88zx and worse than the slaughter itself, is the torture they receive in the factory farms. They are castrated with no anesthesia, and keep them in tiny cages (so tiny that they cannot even turn around or lay down comfortably!!), and except for their slaughter day they may never even see the sun shine! and yet some people are either ignorant of these animal cruelty or damn too selfish that will not give up their bacon and ham!! shame!

  • @slick88zx well you can't understand why people eat it if you've never tried it yourself...BACON IS FRIGGIN DELICIOUS

  • @GhettoBlaster100 I know right ALL THE HEART DISEASE GREASYNESS IS AWESOME! -_- Have you ever ate a dog? I heard they are delicious too. So what?

  • @brittniebob yeah, I ate dog in Vietnam back in 2007, it is quite tasy

  • @GhettoBlaster100 So what I heard WAS true =) Thanks

  • @brittniebob

dog meat and bacon, whats the difference? they are both quite intelligent

  • @ihavenousernamelol2 There isn't a difference but I'm sure as hell not wasting my time on someone who will eat a dog. They aren't hypocrites though. They eat all meats and I choose to not eat any.

  • bacon...yumm...

  • a zapiac sie w torbie to juz nie umie?^^

  • First time I saw a pig that's so smart!

  • Aww!!!!

  • Aweeeeeeee how cute lol. I always loved pigs better than my neighbors sloppy dogs, yay

  • Hate pigs

  • Awww, I just wanna hug him!

  • Omg I want one now lol it's so funny and cute

  • Humans have double standards if they still eat pig and wouldn't eat this one - which I doubt anyone with half a heart would!

  • thats one tasty looking dog...

  • Those aren't the type of pigs you eat. That was a potbellied pig, not a livestock breed.

  • I can't believe I just ate him

  • Pigs are as intelligent as they are delicious!

  • AWH!!! he's so cuute :3

  • Well done, Mudslinger! Here's some bacon!

  • @wakeupfist You know pigs resemble humans a lot.. so do you subconsciously want to eat members of your own species? Jk sweetie!

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd

    My point exactly.

  • ooooooooooooooooooooo my god! he is very cutie! i want a pig like he!

  • what would happen if epicmealtime watched this?

  • @boldziga They probably wouldn't care, unfortunately. Seeing as in one of there videos they buy a whole dead pig...:(

  • @MaddyRockRoxs dang

  • I miss this kind of Animal Planet!

  • only evil and barbaric people eat pork

  • @ihavenousernamelol2 when I read such comments I feel the need to order 2 pork steaks instead of 1, in order to cover for your moral deficiency

  • Im still seeing pork

  • I want a pet pig now XD

  • I will stop eating pork for a week!

  • it's sad to say he plays soccer better then me...

  • @PaintedBlossoms It's called FUCKING FOOTBALL u far american ;)

  • @4DanishProductions Hey! pssst, I'm canadien ;) shh don't worry about it.

  • sooooooooooooo cute

  • a lot of people don't realize how intelligent and clean pigs really are

  • Pigs SUCKS.

  • @SteveFuks your use of grammar sucks.

  • @RichieSam5

How about Shut the fuck up you slut bag cunt?

  • Unless you teach it how to make dinner and clean the dishes all I see is BACON.

  • What a smart animal! I have never seen a pig that reponds to training before. I wander how long it took for its owner to teach him the tricks.

  • How can u love one animal and eat another one.i just dont get it

  • Pig(in his mind): Okay human, I'll do whatever, just give me the food.

  • Some people think that pig are not clean

The are the second more clean animals in the world...

The roll in the mud because its a way to refresh them like us to jump in a pool :)

  • And people don't like pigs because they lay in the mud but peaple take mud baths for beauty !!!

    Strange......

  • I WANT A PET PIG!!

  • I was once told... pigs are smarter than cats and dogs

  • awww amasing!!!!

  • 34 people have swine flu

  • Well, I guess I'll have to start eating turkey bacon now....

  • Wow, thats one smart little pig ! Impressed !!!!!!!

  • I do all those tricks but i never get treats. :(

  • ilove this pig so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!X)

  • thawd pigs CAN'T do tricks.

  • he is soo cute i had a pig pet it's verry funny

  • Pigs are smarter than dogs, fact!

  • @SuperManbir yea, but dogs are more helpful. besides eating them

  • PPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL THIS PIG IS SO AWESOME

  • very impressive

  • so adorable!!!

  • we are the only animal that takes pride in getting other animals to perform tricks for us.

  • mud-slinger? are you fuckin kiddin?

  • AWE CUTE PIGGY !!!

  • so cute :)

  • bacon on legs

  • wow...cool...

  • ooooooooh yummy lol!

  • This video made me hungry...

  • @unholymethod Vietnamese people would say the same thing about dogs... funny fact: i am drunk.

  • did u see the pig smile at one point. i saw its eyes, it looked happy

  • I love how Mudslinger pauses for dramatic effect after he closes the box...he's like "see that bitches?"

  • I haven't even seen a dog who can do some of those tricks!

  • Sweet pig :3

  • I was eating a BLT while watching this.

  • well....MudSlinger is a potbelly pig...they aren't food pigs thank god! :) potbellies are pet pigs. He is almost 1 year old and he's still cute and cuddly -3 now pigs I raise are market hogs and there are many different breeds, but instead of staying small like this cute one, they will reach up to 300lbs by the time they are 6 months old

  • @missjessieraerae

how much difference does the type of pig make? why should one be food, and one not be?

  • @mellamosean because its illegal for potbellies to be slaughtered for food, and eating the meat off of a potbelly pig would probably make you sick too...not to mention it would have a ton of fat on it and it wouldnt taste good

  • @missjessieraerae

I'm not talkin about the law here... so you wouldn't have a problem eating potbellies if they tasted good and wouldn't make you sick?

  • @mellamosean sure....and the difference with the types of pigs used and bred specifically for meat is the quality of the pigs

  • @missjessieraerae

    would you eat "mudslinger?"

  • @mellamosean why does it matter?????? i really dont understand the point you are trying to make here

  • @missjessieraerae

A lot of people tend to be inconsistent with their views on animals; they assume that "food animals" are profoundly different than "pet animals." You said "thank god" potbellies aren't food pigs, so I was wondering if you felt that way. That's all.

  • @mellamosean ohhhh gotcha haha potbellies are strictly pet animals..."market animals" are profoundly different than "pet animals" though...take a look at some pix of market hogs then potbellies....market hogs weigh up to 300lbs when they are 6 months old which is their slaughter age, same with beef, veal, lambs and all other market animals, they are all fed specific diets to produce higher quality meat. yes some pets are fed special diets but not for the same reasons

  • @missjessieraerae

I was referring to differences in terms of brain-function, personality, and life "value." People value pet dogs, cats, and apparently potbelly pigs too, but have disregard for "food" animals. They would be horrified if someone killed their dog. They would be horrified if their potbelly pig was killed. But as for the nameless "food" animals, little thought is given.

  • @mellamosean are you a vegetarian? of course people would be horrified if someone killed their dog. imagine what would happen if we let all animals breed and didnt kill any of them for FOOD? they would overpopulate, there is a code of ethics involved in all of this....they are not "nameless" food animals, market animals were put on this earth for a reason, and one of them is for food. and it isnt like we kill the animals simply for the sake of killing them, they are strictly for food, we put

  • @missjessieraerae if there is a decrease in the demand for meat than there is a decrease in breeding them

  • @mellamosean we use them as a resource for food, of course these animals have value, i value my market hogs, there is plenty of thought given into these hogs...plus it isnt like pigs are endangered

  • @missjessieraerae

yea, well vegan, but same idea. There is no reason they would overpopulate. Food animals were like any other animal on Earth until we stepped in and transformed them into what they are through thousands of years of breeding, or artificial selection. So you name them? Most food animals do go nameless.Again, I meant value in the way people value pets. Do you think of each pig you raise as the individual it is? Like you would for a dog?

  • @mellamosean yes they would overpopulate right now theres even problems with wild hogs overpopulating. and no thats just your opinion, people have been eating animals ever since either have existed. artificial selection has helped make better quality meat for the people who eat it because it is healthy for you. yes all of my pigs have names and i do value them and i love them, but in the end i know what they were intended for and created for. i do raise each hog for the individual that they..

  • @missjessieraerae

again, they would not overpopulate. Would could have a discussion on that, but it's beside the point. What is my opinion exactly? As far as I know, humans always did eat some meat. My point was that the animals we eat were once wild animals, and we changed them through artificial selection to fit our needs; so in a sense, they were created for food, but we are the creators. I was never criticizing you, or people like you who raise animals in small quantities (cont.)

  • @mellamosean if we let them be wild animals, and nobody was allowed to hunt them, then yes they would overpopulate, but thats not the subject we are on so...yes we are the creators of market breeds today but the lines of these breeding animals go waayyy back hundreds of years. i dont pretend to care for my animals, i love each and everyone of them, each of them have their own personalities, there are some that have more of an aggressive temperament and they will try to bite us or ram us...

  • @missjessieraerae

I was criticizing society. How can we pretend to care for animals and then kill and eat them? That's why I stopped eating meat, because the power is within the consumer. I don't think you're the problem, you're are part of the supply, you're replaceable. In fact, now that I think of it, I don't think it'd be hypocritical to raise hogs and be a vegan---the more pigs being raised on small farms, the less pigs in factory farms. Don't get me wrong, I still think killing (cont.2)

  • @mellamosean which are the ones that we know are a danger to us and we do have to kill them for market, other hogs that have more of a puppy dog personality, we keep as pets and business for breeding. i can say i love the animals but also know that they are a part of the business and if we dont fill the demand, there goes are job. they do have to die eventually, but there are lots of mouths to feed, with family and livestock alike, we get paid for what we do and we enjoy it, we cant change...

  • @mellamosean ...the demand, and honestly its not going to go down because people are sad that the animals had to die, if demand goes down, it will be because of economy getting worse, meaning prices of meat and everything else will go up like it is right now.

i have a small farm, i have 10 sows for breeding, and 2 boars, the litters i sell to 4-H and FFA members and the rest i keep and sell for profit. i keep my number of pigs down by only keeping the breeding hogs that produce the best...

  • @missjessieraerae

pigs or any other animal for food is unethical, I just think it's more unethical to use factory farms to raise them. How can you say you love these animals but not care if they die? You might say, well they have to die, which is true in certain sense. A certain amount of pigs and other animals must die to fill the demand. The less the demand is, the less amount need to die. Anyway, for now I'm on your side. I think all animals should be raised in farms like yours. (cont.)

  • @mellamosean quality meat in the offspring to fill the demands.

  • @missjessieraerae

Now here's a question stemming from curiosity: do you send the animals to a slaughterhouse? Or do you kill them yourself, and if so, what is the process (with details please)?

  • @mellamosean well neither...i hate the way that slaughter houses treat the animals before they are killed, and i dont kill them myself...i actually have a partner who used to work for the slaughterhouses but he also didnt like the way the animals were treated, so we set up our own...when the hogs are ready for market, we transport them over to his house, they each get their own pen that has warm shavings, water, feed, and shelters for them to stay warm and out of the sun...

  • @mellamosean ..after about 3 or 4 days, we start the euthanizing process...after the hogs had a good meal we go in the pen and give them the same shots that are used to humanely euthanize cats, dogs or any other animal, we make sure that they dont feel anything...were as slaughterhouses, they are in a very stressful situation, they are put through chutes, multiple different holding pens, and they are put with hogs they dont know and they could get pretty beat up from getting into fights

  • @mellamosean then, when the guy killing the animals that day gets to their pen, they are all shot right there in front of eachother, sometimes when they dont shoot the head(which instantly kills the animals) like if they miss and shoot their leg, they will let the animal just sit there to suffer until they have killed the rest in that pen. i personally hate the slaughter house, for all animals, and i believe the way that i treat my hogs is humane, i have gotten complaints from peta but

  • @mellamosean but the way i treat my animals is much better than what they do at the slaughter house, i love all animals and i am completely against poaching, i also hunt but i dont hunt for the trophy i hunt for the meat. i work at a horse rescue called Mustang-Spirit and most of the horses we take are horses at the slaughter house waiting for their turn, we take the horses and give them new homes.....so i love animals, i eat meat and i am strongly against slaughterhouses

  • @missjessieraerae

So is it the shots that kill the pigs? What is the chemical? How long before they die?

  • @mellamosean its the ones that i use yes...im not sure how many farms actually do. first there is a sedetive that we give them to make them sleep, its also a pain reliever so they dont feel anything, the second shot is Sodium Thiopental and it doesnt take long at all

  • @missjessieraerae

well that sounds like the optimal way for them to go out. An though I am still against the concept of killing animals for food I don't have a problem with farms like yours. As long as there is demand for the meat, farms like yours are sanctuaries for animals, whereas most get stuck in the factory-farm/slaughterhouse system.

Sidenote... I did 4H when I was younger, long before I became a vegan. Raised a pig (for 6 months that is...) named Gilmore (after Happy Gilmore)

  • @mellamosean i can respect that, i have friends that are vegans/vegetarians. and thank you for seeing my farm as a sanctuary for them, i aslo hate the factory farm/ slaughter house systems.

  • @mellamosean are, they all have different personalities and i love them. you know one thing i dont understand about vegans/vegetarians is how, almost blind they are about people like me that raise market animals...if we let all animals live and fend for themselves they would eventually overpopulate because people dont want us hunting or eating them. some pigs are treated as pets because thats what they are, same with market hogs, pigs never stop growing, within 3 years, market pigs can easily

  • @missjessieraerae

I was only questioning you because of the comment you made in the beginning...something along the lines of "thank god potbellies aren't food pigs." I think it's odd that some animals we treat as our best friend, and some animals we kill and eat. And more specifically, some pigs are treated as pets, while others are eaten....what a roll of the dice for them...

  • @mellamosean weigh over 900lbs...and besides meat has a lot of protein in it and it is healthy to the human body. i have nothing against vegans/vegetarians but sometimes their way of thinking confuses and annoys me...i cant tell you how many times i have been criticized for the work i do because i raise and sell market hogs

  • @missjessieraerae thats good that you raise them yourself, the reason why most people are vegans is because of the cruelty that goes on in factory farms, because of so much demand of meat people have no choice but to treat these sensitive animals as disposable, inanimate objects. people want to help lessen the demand of meat and some just cant eat meat with the great guilt. go to "meat video com" or look for a video called "glass walls"

  • at 1:27 the pigs like 'YEAH AND WUT?'

  • i wanna eat it

  • This pig is so cute I wish I had one as a pet they seem so smart i love animals!!!!!!!!

  • this is why i gave up eating swine 10 years ago...

  • am i the only one who just keeps thinking emmmmm bacon the whole time

  • @mistaunbeatabl i hope some aliens come on this earth, kidnap you, your family and kids and have a nice dinner with your soft meat

  • @mistaunbeatabl

Yes, you are. You sick sick person. :)

  • very cute

  • Pigs make awesome pets and are so smart, its just a shame that they're so much tastier than dogs.

  • I think part of the pig's training is dog training

  • OMG I AM SPEECHLESS!! THAT IS ONE SMART PIG!!!!

  • This is great, but can it heard sheep?

  • XD Mackenzie Phillips is a judge

  • I am never going to eat pork again. Pigs are just too awesome to die! D:

  • soooo cute!:))

  • I love how the pig wags its tail :)

  • PIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!

I bet that guy abuses the pig off camera, he has the look of a rapist. Besides, who has enough time, or the energy, to train a pig?!

  • @RCraigful Actually, pigs are pretty easy to train. Definitely easier than some dog breeds haha.

  • Pig are friends, not food. =]

    He's soooo cute.

  • pigs are actually smarter than dogs

  • he was wagging his little tail the whole time! <3

  • soooooo CUTE!!!! i love pigs :p

  • At 1.27 i'll swear i seen him smile cuz he was gettin cheered lol :)

  • Adorable! How could anyone ever imagine eating such a precious animal?

  • @genevieveportfolio

a good reason for turning vegan. Albeit quite frankly, I'd make an exception if human meat and dairy would be legal - too many humans on this planet.

  • cool
