  • @hillwillyy If you check out the Part 1 video it will show you where they connect to. Hope this helps yah out. Here's a link to part 1 youtube.com/user/1aauto?feature=mhee#p/search/1/yEOv7S7dS6c

  • @1aauto when replacing a fuel pump do u have to replace the sending unit aswell or ???

  • How long would this take. One day ?

  • @cz619 It might take you about 3-4 hours.

  • at 3:33 THAT PART I CANNOT FIND IT. That sending unit, autozone and other stores dont have it please help! where can I find this?

  • @Mauser2012 Check out our website 1aauto.com we carry sending units for Mustangs, and all kinds of other applications.

  • but can you buy those sound deadeners from a store ready to go or do you need to buy like DynaMat and custom cut it?

  • @nseoi You could do dynamat. Using 2 layers of roofing felt with a thin layer of roof tar between is a budget way to go that does the job as well.

  • what is the name of the rubber sheets that go on the top of the tank? i know they prevent vibration against the body. i cannot find them anywhere new. thanks

  • @nseoi I'd call them sound deadener or an insulator.

  • Dude I'm glad that you placed these out there I'm about to restore my 1986 Capri sole owner bought it with 33 miles on it. Been sitting for 7 years so going to be doing a lot of things first one is want to make sure the motor still runs good but my fuel tank has rusted so I'm replacing that and the sending unit. then hitting the engine. It does run when fuel applied directly.

    Anyway thank you again.

  • can you tell me what is the name of the rubber part that goes inside the gas tank i think its a lomit but im not sure thanks

  • @blockstarr1 The rubber gasket around the fuel tank filler neck is usually called a grommet. The rubber gaskets fro the sending units are called O-Rings.
