I'd rather give a guy props for being different and driving a miata, im27 years old and I have a mustang, a miata, and an 95 civic... My miata looks great, runs very well and I love small cars, the mustang is for parts to make a monster miata... @94miata never been in a vette but my trans am isn't bad at all, its better than most mid size sedans i've been in. Now if I let my buddy drive and ride in the passenger seat its pretty bad. There's a small hump in the floor on F-body cars on the passenger side where the cat is located.
There are lots more women driving Mustangs than Miatas. But, the funny thing is my stock '99 ultimately isn't that far off a stock GT. It weights over 1,000 pounds less. But, stock the car is built to handle. I autocross mine. EVERY person that has given me shit about driving a girls car and had the balls to show up to an autocross and take a ride has ended up changing that statement. They might still be a girls car, but a girls car that can move.

@DarkBB2 looks like you should have thought about that one first. Ford 9" and a fender cut to fit 30" slicks in the rear. Or a 1st gear lock out and only stray that nitrous after 1st or maybe after 2nd. A little more experience and you should be able to get it down. Good luck with the project.
i would like to know how they got the miata to stay stable at those speeds in this mod. i haven't looked into but i am sure the basics work their magic quite well since the vehicle is a lot lighter then what the upgraded suspension was even meant for. i only bring it up because on the highway doing 70 my miata feels like it's ready to fly off a cliff and spin out with the slightest touch of a wheel lol!!

you should both keep in mind that times in there own way are worthless because you can have a car that finishes within 9 seconds but that also runs out of steam and in greater length would lose. ex: stock miata - 14@113 (can't go any faster afterwards or is slow in acceleration past that point as it can only dart) / stock trans am 14.5@119 (suddenly after that point it might dominate it or it begins to catch up within the last second or two rapidly)

I had an MR2 before i got the miata. both are reliable and fun as hell to drive but the miata is faster, handles better, and looks better. i just found it pretty damn hilarious that a person with such a refined sense of style would have a profile video of a walk around of a piece of shit mirage.

My friends dad had a Carrera GT, and me at 6' and 170 lbs. felt very, very tight sitting in that car.
Though I will say, I don't have the seat nearly all the way back in my miata, but my head is close to the roof.
