  • Im playing this song in a few days. Im playing Bari Sax and have a solo! cant wait... This band is really good by the way. Loved hearing the bari!

  • im going to go play this in about 30 minuets with my band, go bari sax

  • DID IU JUST HEAR A BERRY SAX, IF SO THEN I LOVE THIS

  • I play trombone on it (I am the only one D:) and it is rly fun :) I always get great compliments on it because I am the only one!

  • @Thepianofreak17 Woah, I feel for you. It is such a good song when played well with a good trombone section of 5. You should find some trombone buddies ;)

  • well done the sound quality on the vid could be better and the saxes are a bit quiet but nice job, i'm playing this in my jazz band at school sounds awesome :) , gj on solo

  • we did this in Junior high and that Alto Solo it rly fun even tho I play trombone I can still play it

  • I played this song with my old jazz ensemble.. I played the drums part.. This was really a fun piece to play, there's a lot of "open for solos" section and I did one!! Cool song!

  • I think you should find some congas or something to make fills in the gaps before the solos. Otherwise, good job!

  • I presume yo guys are jazz band since you are opening for the jazz ensemble? Anyways it was ok, more good than bad. I play in STM All star jazz band in Hamilton, ON. We have gone to the natonals every year so far.

  • Well, this was the middle school jazz band, There are 2 middle schools and 1 high school in our district. Both middle schools have one jazz band, and the high school has a jazz band and a jazz ensemble. All of the groups performed at this concert. Our school has a very good music department

  • It is good for the middle school level, At measure 49 you guys skipped a repeat, this is known as AAB form. Very good, just I might recommend the setup is different, have the rhythm section (rhythm buddies) on the left side of the band and bass trombone and bari sax on the right side so the audience gets a good fell of low sounds. Good though

  • Thanks!

  • @punkskunk95 We just played this at the national level along with At Last- Edda James, Heats On- Sammy Nestico and we won silver... the adjudicator recommended that we strongly swell that long notes near the end.

  • We're playing this to open our Jazz Ensemble
