I hate this show. Everyone in it is good but the titular character: BATMAN! UGHHH!! He reminds me of the 1960s!!! OOOOOOOOO!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!! SOMEONE SHOOT ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He makes me soooo mad considering the last 5 Batman animated tv shows showed Batman as a dark avenger!! Yet here, they try to hybrid that with camp! ARGH! I want his head!
@SoraMatt really he's more of the straight-man type hero who's pretty calm and collective and less emotional. He doesn't seem campy unless you mean his lines like 'Hammers of Justice".
@SoraMatt Yes, camp is the point. It's a fun show for a younger demographic, as well as anybody with an appreciation of the classics. Everything can't be dark and brooding all the time, or it'd get boring real fast.
Straight from the show itself: ""Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but it's certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots than the tortured avenger crying out for mommy and daddy."
This recovers the spirit of the Show of the years 70, with a Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor that are Lynda Carter and Lyle Waggoner in cartoons. Warner Bros and DC Comics, please, make the Show of Wonder Woman being based on this. People want it. ;)
@PACR66 Nope. Glad you've realized I don't have imagination for me. Frankly that's shocking to me. But I'm sure I'll come to accept it, once I get past the grieving stage.
@InnerVenom123 Oh well, at least I would always know who are you, having the same name for every account makes things easier for people that know you...
As much, as cheesy and childfriendly this seems (and kinda is), this is propably the most faithfull and and in character depiction of Wonder Woman outside of comic books.
This was stellar!! Loved Wonder Woman, and loved Batman but Steve Trevor is a useless sack. I all he does is wait around like some bagage to be picked up!
Loved how Batman save himself but left Steve and then his "What does she see in that man?" was the BEST! Because really what does she see in Steve? :P
Why DC and Warner can`t see that a lot of people love the unique and original Wonder Woman???? we want to see her in movies and TV...stop Batman and Superman!!!
OMG!!!!! I love it!!!!!!! Pretty corny that Gunther was wearing a monocle, but Batsy's wry "What does she see in that man" is one of the best moments in the series!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Passions55 Sorry, I took glances at the New Frontier WW figure I have on the wall while watching this, and maybe didn't recall the actual movie version properly.
Love it! I actually don't like this version of the Batman cartoon cuz it's so over-the-top corny. But this episode with WW is definitely a classic and I love the theme song being included.
She falling at them and none of them can get a shot at her legs?

@SoraMatt That's what makes it great. I hate "dark avenger" Batman. It's so overdone and no fun at all.

Notice: Batman didn't try to untie Steve. He wanted him to die.
I don't blame him.

@Ikarosus This is a clear homage to the Lynda Carter tv show (first season). Poor Steve Trevor can't be more useless, haha.

why are you guys being so hard on poor Steve Trevor?
Passions55 9 months ago 2
wow...this has got to be the only time this version of batman has shown attraction/jealousy over woman other than Cat Woman.
Passions55 9 months ago
Wow a version of Wonder woman thats more faithful than the Justice League and JLU, and Superman and Batman Apocalypse counterpart.

@raporfest Is it just me, or do you see quite a bit of influence from New Frontier on this design for WW?
keen14you 9 months ago
@keen14you Well the Brave and the Bold often uses the character designs from the Golden and Silver Age to give more of a retro vibe.
raporfest 9 months ago
@keen14you
hell no! This wonder Woman's physique is waaay more womanly than that!
