  • what if he was a windows 7?

  • @Thomastrack95

Well, he wouldn't be that much different. He'd be basically an exact *copy*.

  • Im almost positive Steve didnt create Pixar. Im pretty sure he bought it out before going back to apple (Still CEO of NeXT) and then Apple bought NeXT and Jobs went back, making Pixar and Apple partnering companies. I may be wrong though.

  • @realannyoningorange Lol besides why would you comment on this video?

  • It makes sense that wall-e is a mac because steve jobs helped make pixar

  • RIP steve jobs...

  • wall-e cant sit next to my computer no more now

  • Given how my iPod behaves, that's the sound we will hear when Arnie comes back to kill Sarah Connor...

  • @Mrballmer better run Linux!BSOD error!

  • old macintosh computer the ones that had the tiny button on the back

  • Wall-E was the only one that ran on OS X. His innards are a powermac G5.

All the others were running on windows vista

    With a Pentium 4! Lolol

  • I love how Jobs chucks these little things in so subtly :)

  • I like all the Apple references they have - In Toy Story 3, Woody uses a Mac to find out how to get home. In this film, you've got the iPod and Mac startup sound, and I presume there are more in other films.

  • there were other references to apple in the movie as well

  • @SkyFallXIII Like wot?? :D

  • hahah think of it this world will be full of mac hehehe

  • 靠么!真的ㄟ!瓦力的開機聲跟我的iMac一樣!?

  • well duhh,. Steve Jobs works in pixar

  • He is a MAC! No wonder all the other WALL-Es died because WALL-E is a Mac

  • The main reason that was put in was likely as a nod to not only the fact Jobs (the prick that he is for ripping off Wozniak who was his best friend at the time) founded Pixar and Apple but as a small joke so that parents taking their kids to this movie would have a good laugh/big ass smile. This sound isn't used in OSX, just the real Macs to my knowledge.

  • @APE992 Its used in os x...every time you start the computer

  • I just watched Wall-E, and while he was charging, I thought : Damn, it's my computer !

  • so wall-e is part mac??

  • @SuperComputerlab Wall-e is 100% mac.

  • Steve jobs bought pixar from ilm you idiot.

  • He boots very fast !

  • @ThibaultAnd Dayum right boy

  • fake maybe

  • @thearthurshow LOL, watch the movie instead before leaving stupid comments about fake! IT is REAL!

  • Finally some macs in the movies. Wall-E is cute, and he's a Macintosh! What more can one possibly ask...

  • @setta91 For him to be a PC, that would be more useful.

  • ...........traitor

  • @windowsandmacintosh my ipod does

  • @WindowsAndMacinrosl Steve Jobs started Pixar????

  • @DrG241

Yes, Pixar was founded by Ed Catmull, Alvy Ray Smith, and Steve Jobs

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh

As I know, Steve Jobs didn't started it. But after Disney refused to give Pixar money-support Steve Jobs get sponsor of Pixar.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh well his innerds ar made from an 27 inch intel i7 core prossesor iMac!!

  • @DrG241 Yes, he did. He is also the biggest owner of Disney (I think)!

  • ahahaha i heard that in the movie and i wanted to make sure:D he's a mac:D

  • Lol, thanks for the video, Now i love Wall-e

  • Lol that is the real footage too. I wonder how much apple paid for that

  • @DrG241

They didn't have to pay much for it. Steve Jobs started Apple and Pixar. Pixar uses Macs to make everything, anyway. I'm sure all Apple had to do was ask.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh i though steve jobs just bought pixar

  • Wall-E is an iPod.

  • @SevenFootPelican

No he's a Mac... iPods don't make that sound...

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh iPods don't make any sound lol

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh But does he have Leopard installed? Lol

  • "hello I'm a Wall-e and I'm a PC..."

  • @GUSRULZ445

That was the DUMBEST thing I've EVER heard...

  • when i first heard it,i thought it was a sound effect. Then,i bought my macbook pro and heard the same sound but wasnt sure whut it is.then, when i watched wall e again,I KNEW IT!!!HE IS A MAC!!

  • Funny how Wall-E was made in 2100 or something, lol

Maybe a future CEO of Apple will change the Mac sounds to the old one!

  • When I heard it in the cinema I turned to my cousin and said isn't that the sound your laptop makes when it starts up? XD

  • didn't noticed this before, until couple days ago my daughter said to me when i booted up my mac ' daddy, wall-e sounds just like your computer ' ... didn't knew that our favourite little robot running MAC OS :-)

  • pixar

  • @barrocostudio

I didn't notice when I saw it in theaters, and when I saw these videos on the Internet, I thought it was just editing. Later when we watched it in school, I noticed it and I was the only one who noticed that it was the Mac bong(chime, bleep, bang, bash, boot sound).

  • LOL! really funny!

  • HAHA! SO funny!

  • @Jakeman2164

All Macs from about 1995-1997 had this sound. From 1997 to today they have a slightly lower one. WALL-E is suppose to look older in here.

    It is the best sound.

  • hahahahahhaha love that.
