  • @bimbus111 Thanks! I use a Sony HVR-Z1P HDV camera in a Light & Motion Bluefin HD housing and Light & Motion lights. I bought this 4 years ago so it is old now.

  • I know you've heard it a lot, but...awesome video...really kicks ass!

I beg you to tell me what kind of light & motion lights you use....

  • @parasdim1 Thanks! The lights are Sunray Elite halogen lights. Not very bright at all, compared to the LED lights they make today. Most of my footage is shot without them.

  • the video is created in a dive? or in more than one

  • @maz199765 Approximately 20-30 dives over 2 liveaboard trips.

  • Hi! Congrats on your video, it's awesome! Please tell me what kind of equipment do you use for this videos. Thanks for sharing this treasure!

  • @draconni Thanks! I use a Sony HVR-Z1P HDV camera in a Light & Motion Bluefin HD housing and Light & Motion lights. I bought this 4 years ago so it is old now.

  • I wish I could be there diving, it looks amazing :(

But I got a problem with my lungs.. FML.

  • and 5:54 ? ...so unusual.... wow

  • @wellsrachael It's a Spanish dancer, Hexabranchus sanguineus, a type of nudibranch.

  • what is that at 5:50....it looks beautiful!...great vid!!! so beautiful!!

  • this area is in danger of being destroyed due to construction of a deep-sea port by Thai and Chinese company. Sea-gypsies' culture will be history.

  • cute kids :)

  • how deep did you reach?

  • @devilaliali Normally down to about 45m at Black Rock but most of this is shot at 0-25m

  • @bubblevision thumbs up man... ohh no your a diver thumbs up isnt a good sign XD .. sorry i suck @ joking .. anyways best of luck man and woooow 45m :O i only reached 7m and i thought my ears were going to explode ... and if you ever shot another video i would be delighted to watch it

  • very amazing video i wish i was with you guys ^_^

  • Amazing ! you got ver yclose up:) Brilliant

  • excellent video

  • Did you carry a light with you while you film or use some sort of color correction software? The lighting is fantastic.

  • @Tharpless It's a mixture. I used a pair of halogen lights for some shots, and available light from the surface for others. Manual white balance helps the shots without lights.

  • @bubblevision I'm toying with channel mixers for color correction. Adequate? Ive been messing with the clips from my old Belize video, watch?v=ntgUM30ePcI, and it seems to help.

  • One of the best diving videos I'v EVER seen in my hole life! ::)

  • I enjoyed it slot

  • great work!

  • Nice. nice. nice... I love shots and the whole composition!

  • Was just trawling YouTube for some Decent HD to see how it looked on my iPad, came across this and was truly mesmerised, what a stunning location beautifully shot.

  • I need to see a whale shark swimming in it's own habitat one day before I die. I've got a good 60-70 years ahead of me... Plenty of time to do it.

  • I like fish :D

  • Beautiful!!!! I love all aquatic life so much!! Nice vid (:

  • i wanna trow a poke'ball at it!

  • Also what do you do for a living that lets you go to these amazing places!

  • Im getting certified soon :D

question. what the fuck do you do when you see a shark other than stay calm and avoid movement

  • @TheTruthOfLies A lot of sharks are harmless, but if you come across one that seems interested in you as a meal, the best thing you can do is punch it in the nose (as a last resort). It is a super sensitive area for them and they most likely will stay away from you after that. Obviously, don't go looking for a fight among sharks, though, because it may just be coincidentally close to you.

  • At 4:17 Whats that red and white striped fish swimming behind the lionfish?

  • @mpalm1990 It's a juvenile red emperor snapper (Lutjanus sebae). In adulthood it loses the stripes and becomes solid pink. I love how it was using the lionfish as protection and the lionfish didn't seem at all bothered. I followed them for quite a while.

  • @mpalm1990 Просто великолепно !!! Спасибо !!!

  • Просто великолепно !!! Спасибо !!!

  • Beautiful and inspirational video, I'm definitely subschribing. I've only done about 30 dives so far, but I'm hoping to one day see as much as you did, like the magnificent whaleshark. I've already had the opportunity and honour to see the Spanish Dancer in all her glory though, so I'm not complaining!

  • WOW WOW WOW WOW WOOOOOOW !!!!!!!!!

  • never been scuba diving in my life but after this video i think im going to have to change that! :)

  • Guys now you see the beautiful of Myanmar... Pls become a fans of Myanmar band :) We play Burmese and English If you have facebook search for Faith Tower thanks guys btw its free :P

  • Very nice video ... Thank you for sharing the experience!

  • Great fish. Don't go to Burma and spend real money on diving trips. And for gods sake don't advertise Burma on YouTube so that other people go there and spend hard currency. Every USD you spend sets the rest of the worlds efforts back two steps.

Those cute little guys in your opening shots who have apparently never been photographed before deserve a future where they own the cameras.

  • Csodálatos!!!

  • 1:30 ITS DAVY JONES' HEAD WATCH OUT

  • WOW! Nature is beautiful!!!! :D Thanks for sharing.. :)

  • Hey Hey Wht Iz Myanmar Magic

  • Highly unlikely most people would ever have the opportunity to experience this first-hand, so THANK YOU so much for sharing this!! It's crazy how just about everything in this video is alive, even the things that at first seem like rock, coral, or gravel! Stunning!I I favorited this so I can easily find it and re-watch it, thanks again! :)

  • song?

  • Wow, just wow. Just to prove how much I loved this I'll tell you my age, I'm 15. And a lot of todays teenagers are not very into nature, more like money and sex. I don't blame them for that, it's the goverment and stuff but my point is just WOW. I appreciate this video like f*. Thanks a lot and wow just again, look at nature, it's beautiful!

  • yes seagirl19 but there are also good dive stories on the internet, try the myscubastory site. type myscubastory into google and its the first one

  • One Question, is this video filmed in more then one dive!?

  • @WarrockSoundlove I wish!!! No, it was shot over 28 dives :)

  • @bubblevision Okeey thank you! ; )

  • @WarrockSoundlove That would be like winning the lottery.

  • religion destroyed their lifes...

  • @teo5151 I am from Myanmar and I proud to be Buddhist. I don't think religion is the one which destroyed lives in Myanmar. The things which destroyed our lives are Junta and bad government I think.

  • @qiansweety

From what I see, those kids are somewhat poor and maybe some of them are hungry... Now those big statues and monuments had to be payed by someone and I`m guessing it`s the people... Now woulden`t it have been better if the people had some food instead of the statues and worked instead of worshiping a god? I`m sorry if I`m rude or heretic but tha`ts just my opinion...

  • wow!

    thank you for video

    It's amazing world!

  • I LoVe Myanmar .... it's a paradise.

  • @vidanc

nah,,, myanmar is the hell on earth, particularly those parts where their government will never let a western tourist with a truck of diving kits to access

  • @DogyKane

We understand the political situation and I'm really sorry I can not help. I grew up under communist dictatorship and lived what they now live. I admire this country and I hope that people be free. But ..

Myanmar is a wonderful country with great people :)

  • @vidanc yeah i know u cant help mate and no one can, have been working as an anti arms trafficking aid worker for a while in Burmese-Thai border, everything i've seen about this country is shit shit shit, until i see ur video, never know Burma under sea is so beautiful, nice work!

  • Wow, you really capture the beauty of every animal you film. Well done.

  • BURMAAA

  • nice video

  • how can there not be a God???

  • Great video! Great music! by the way whats the name of the song?

  • 208 thats a very deadly fishy it can have a lot of poison and its spikes are like doctors needles and it has poison dont mess with those fish or eat them without cutting all ther spikes off!

  • You got the best job in the world.Great stuff.

  • 6:00 what is that?

  • @p1nguinking It's a large nudibranch (sea slug), Hexabranchus sanguineus, commonly known as a "Spanish dancer" because their appearance represents a Spanish dancer's skirts when they swim.

  • amazing!!!...i just wish to see that too someday

  • Ok, after watching so many of these videos it leads me to this question. How come in warmer areas of water in the ocean, the water appears very clear. But in the Mid/North Atlantic for example which I am familiar with, it is nearly impossible to see clearly. It may just be like common sense or just my imagination, but can someone explain this to me?

  • Tag mig med næste gang :) ?

Vil nok holde mig i baggrunden når vi når til murænerne :p men ellers er jeg frisk :D fantastisk video !

  • love it ♥

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Very nice video!

  • 16 people got eaten by sharks

  • 3:59 Touch it!

  • 2:10

    what fish is that

    nice vid btw

  • @MusiccMaaniac It's Pterois volitans or Pterois miles, commonly known as a red lionfish, common lionfish, devil firefish or turkeyfish.

  • @bubblevision Here in Denmark Poeple call it a Dragon Fish :D Just Saying

  • @MusiccMaaniac a wale shark

  • @MusiccMaaniac

it's a lion fish commonly found in tropical sea water especially in south east asia it has a venomous in that can kill human.

  • @MegaAmberland

    thanks

  • loved the vidio.. very high quality! well done!

  • AMazing, WHat type of camera did you use

  • @PeterGagnon1234 Thanks. Sony HVR-Z1P HDV camera in a Light & Motion Bluefin HD housing. Rather dated now.

what steps shall i take to forfilling what i want to do?

  • @CodeHazza have you done swimming in a sea befor

  • oh ho i love sea food

  • How come the big white boat is written in Thai language? "รุ่งวรวรรณ" it is just Thai language. isn't the diving section part of Thailand sea?

  • @prettynrich That boat is registered in Thailand and sails from Phuket. Most of the liveaboard boats that dive Myanmar actually start from Thailand. All the underwater shots in this video are from Myanmar.

  • This was Thailand ? saw thai boat but why Myanmar Magic ?

  • @gegenoi It's all shot in Myanmar but the boat sailed from Phuket in Thailand

  • who many diver where there to shoot the film?

  • @MauricioGomezPino Just me. And about 13 other divers were there to have a holiday

  • @bubblevision awesome, but i actually ment dives! not divers!

  • @MauricioGomezPino Oh sorry. This was the best footage from 28 dives.

  • @bubblevision wow, freaking awesome thanks for your time!

  • that's really awesome :) thank's alot for the great shooting amazing.

why don't you go some where else such as red sea ( sharm alshaikh) in egypt

    trust me it's a paradise ( many thank's from kuwait )

  • @cuteman26 I did my first tropical diving 20 years ago in Sharm and would like to go back there one day with a camera

  • How deep was the water? Amazing, by the way... awesome location and really, really great shooting.

  • @taxlawmax Varies. Typically down to about 25-30m at the start of the dives, or a bit deeper (40-45m) at Black Rock.

  • Poop

  • amazing!^_^

  • @bubblevision how much does that costs

  • @bokxybabee 7-day/8-night Myanmar liveaboard trip leaving from Phuket, Thailand with Santana Diving currently costs 42,000 Baht (USD 1,400).

  • @bubblevision oh thanks, but no i meant for that camera you used

  • impressive and beautiful, the shoegazing background track fits perfectly!

  • Myanmar is beautiful country.Don't let business destroy it.please.

    from thai

  • 5:24 is that eel dangerous

  • @DYLZA171 not really. moray eels generally don't attack divers unless provoked somehow. the only accidents i know of are when divers try to feed them

  • @DYLZA171 Of course it is! Well if you poke it with a stick

  • really cool shots
