i agree babfish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.
@Tharpless It's a mixture. I used a pair of halogen lights for some shots, and available light from the surface for others. Manual white balance helps the shots without lights.
@bubblevision I'm toying with channel mixers for color correction. Adequate? Ive been messing with the clips from my old Belize video, watch?v=ntgUM30ePcI, and it seems to help.
Was just trawling YouTube for some Decent HD to see how it looked on my iPad, came across this and was truly mesmerised, what a stunning location beautifully shot.
@TheTruthOfLies A lot of sharks are harmless, but if you come across one that seems interested in you as a meal, the best thing you can do is punch it in the nose (as a last resort). It is a super sensitive area for them and they most likely will stay away from you after that. Obviously, don't go looking for a fight among sharks, though, because it may just be coincidentally close to you.
@mpalm1990 It's a juvenile red emperor snapper (Lutjanus sebae). In adulthood it loses the stripes and becomes solid pink. I love how it was using the lionfish as protection and the lionfish didn't seem at all bothered. I followed them for quite a while.
Beautiful and inspirational video, I'm definitely subschribing. I've only done about 30 dives so far, but I'm hoping to one day see as much as you did, like the magnificent whaleshark. I've already had the opportunity and honour to see the Spanish Dancer in all her glory though, so I'm not complaining!

Great fish. Don't go to Burma and spend real money on diving trips. And for gods sake don't advertise Burma on YouTube so that other people go there and spend hard currency. Every USD you spend sets the rest of the worlds efforts back two steps.
Those cute little guys in your opening shots who have apparently never been photographed before deserve a future where they own the cameras.
Highly unlikely most people would ever have the opportunity to experience this first-hand, so THANK YOU so much for sharing this!! From what I see, those kids are somewhat poor and maybe some of them are hungry... Now those big statues and monuments had to be payed by someone and I`m guessing it`s the people... Now woulden`t it have been better if the people had some food instead of the statues and worked instead of worshiping a god? I`m sorry if I`m rude or heretic but tha`ts just my opinion...
