If you have the time gluing a spline between the logs is the best way to build with vertical logs. You can also glue a spline at the top and bottom. This seals the cabin together tightly.
Ignore the wood stove. Those are experimental and the experiment is not working well.
I'd like the use of an oxygen tank for the wood stove......would like to know how it works.....I noticed two doors .....one on top and one on bottom......why two separate doors?
I appreciate the video on verticle log build. One builder recommends cutting a verticle groove on each side of each log. A piece of flat wood is inserted in the groove of the one log and then the other log gets installed....in other words: you don't see a gap between the logs moreover there is some insulation placed in the groove before the wood is inserted. A giant biscut ...LOL. He also uses the rebar. I'd like to know how the log ends are anchored to the bottom and top plate?
