  • If you have the time gluing a spline between the logs is the best way to build with vertical logs. You can also glue a spline at the top and bottom. This seals the cabin together tightly.

Ignore the wood stove. Those are experimental and the experiment is not working well.

  • I'd like the use of an oxygen tank for the wood stove......would like to know how it works.....I noticed two doors .....one on top and one on bottom......why two separate doors?

  • I appreciate the video on verticle log build. One builder recommends cutting a verticle groove on each side of each log. A piece of flat wood is inserted in the groove of the one log and then the other log gets installed....in other words: you don't see a gap between the logs moreover there is some insulation placed in the groove before the wood is inserted. A giant biscut ...LOL. He also uses the rebar. I'd like to know how the log ends are anchored to the bottom and top plate?

  • wow, that looks nice. would love to see the inside of a finished one!!!

  • Thanks for the video. I'd like to see more. I am planning on using your method on my land out by Lake Louise.
