@xtreme7756 dont recall it being bad ass in 1985 seem to recall them always getting spanked. Even my rusting 72 350 nova was spanking them I guess against other 85s it was something but rarely seen then win a race on the street back then
looks like you're right, I was going on info from my Camaro-loving buddy but I just looked and the IROC-Z wasn't introduced until 1984 (for the 85 year model)... I don't know about the first commercial though, any clues?

Defintely an 85, 82-84 Camaro Z28 front-end air dams were totally different than 85-90.

This is definitely 1984-1985...I think Chevy only used the "Today's Chevrolet" campaign for the 1985 Model year.
