Alasdair was my instructor at Balmoral. It was an honor to learn from a master like him. He is greatly missed.

And me! I can remember him walking into the classroom and saying " so who wants to learn the bagpipes in here?" Bloody great teacher he was.

Willie MacRae of Ullapool, Its in the Cabar Feidh Collection and it was his Father Norrie who wrote it

I believe Willie MacRae of Ullapool was written by Alasdair's father Norman.
