@theatariplayer Yes it is but when the winds pick up in the fall youll probably die if your in there! Seriously. Its no longer a free campground you need whats called an adventure pass. $30 annually $1 daily. Also the snow in winter makes it hard goin but the fishings great in winter.

@super456123 this is the steelhead capitol of the world every river is the best river.i use flys but youd probably be a bait kind a guy.please fish steelhead wherever you live and leave our wild ones alone.

mainly fish the bogey or the sol duc. btw i dont use bait

@super456123 The Lyre river is the only water outlet for Lake Cresent. Connected by impassable falls a mile or so down river from the lake. Everybody has their own favorite, but just about any stream will have steelhead in it come winter. I drift corkies but theres about as many techniques as there are fishermen. If you fish Forks then youll miss the Lyre its off hwy 112. Roe in the summer (summer fish are hard to find and spooky) Good luck
