Baxter sucks and for the most part, he was getting lucky against Phil..but that's poker! When you have the wininng hand at show down and choose to turn your cards over slow is when you are slow rolling,

Slow rolling is bad poker etiquette.

@CosmicSPC... or insinuating that you have a pair that was on the board like that hand he announced two pair so phil probably thought his top pair on the board was good but baxter had rolled up kings. Peat's explanation was pretty good though and it wasn't as bad of a slow roll as phil made it out to be. he was more frustrated at how baxter had played the hand im guessing than him losing it.

@CosmicSPC Hellmuth is being a crybaby there as usual. He instacalled on the river which made Baxter believe Hellmuth probably has a weak 3 -- in which case his Kings are no good, so he announces his hand as Two Pair which would allow Hellmuth to quickly turn over trips if he has it.

Hellmuth is right if he thinks Baxter should either say "Kings" or immediately reveal his hand, but to call it a slowroll is pushing it.

Yeah, I think the best etiquette is simply to immediately show your cards. Then, if you want to clarify what you have afterwards, make the appropriate announcement. I disagree with saying "Kings" alone because he didn't just have Kings when you consider the entire 5-card combination. I think "Kings up" or "Kings and Threes" are the most accurate ways to announce that winning hand. What Baxter did was more of a "4 sec. hesitation" than a slow roll. Could've been worse.
