@timwilderspin you don't have to go where deer are. the mushrooms grow in many places, they particularly like disturbed soil, so any new sports pitches or turf developments are good places to look. if you are caught trespassing, I suggest you be polite and apologetic.
I have got my own secret magic place but its a private land and the ground keepers keep chasing me away from there almost every time i go there that is really annoying

@chubyali Yes, it certainly does. Grasslands that are grassed or whatever by sheep will often have them. And well fertilised parks, chuchyards, lawns even can have them too: )
The end is great and on the whole the rest contains lots of good information. I have heard that the Brecon Beacons and the Mendips are good. A nice film.
Has anyone tried Paneolious Campanulatus they are reputed to contain Psylocybin, they do grow on dung and they are slightly larger.

Psilocybe semilanceata does not grow on shit. It's a it is a saprobic species meaning it feeds on decaying roots. Other Psilocybe mushrooms do grow on shit but not liberty caps.
It's been raining a lot recently so I've had my fingers crossed for some early bloomers, but so far all I've found are haymakers and LBM's...And some tasty amethyst decievers!
Guess I'll just have to wait a few more months :(

Hi Thomas - great vid. Just a note - there are actually some psilocybe that look identical to liberty caps, but have white gills and are very potent ! I tried them once but wouldnt recomend picking them as they would be easy to confuse with lookalikes.

@Jargas you gotta know the right people man, but yeah they are much more difficult in denver than in idaho where i used to live. you dont even need to buy them in Idaho, they grow in many places naturally.

@MrMoriarte ya know i came to the conclusion that since the sun rises east to west, n i live on the north east coast so the sun comes above the north sea horizon from the east so as the sun gets out wouldnt it be more likely to start your hunt east to west across from the timeline the suns rays hit the land....so start from closest to east n wander inland from shore? am I totally off the subject here or are you following me?
