illinois sucks balls not only cant you conceal carry now they want to force you to register all of your handguns oh ya and they charge you for each one people like me who have 26 handguns this isnt cheap. Fuck illinois its a chicago ran state. Move to indiana
I live in Illinois and it is disgraceful that we aren't allowed to carry weapons of any kind even though just about 100% of the criminal population is armed, they always have been and always will be. I am even a former police officer, but still not allowed to carry a firearm in my state.
@CaneFu If you are a former police officer, shouldn't you be protected by the Law Enforcement Officers' Safety Act which allows retired police officers to carry a concealed firearm in any state? Or did you leave the force without retiring?
I left when I was younger and did not retire from the the force so that law does not apply to me. Honestly, I thought being a cop sucked, thought most of the people I worked with were a bunch of disturbed jackasses, and had no desire to spend thirty years nitpicking at people.
