  • If your tank is hot why wouldent you adjust the heater? ..I Assume the heater is making it hot? not sunlight or room temp

  • @urzaspath1234 the lighting over the tank makes it hot.

  • @mrsaltwatertank Ahh Makes sense now that you said it thanks Also your lights dont look "white" as in maybe 10K lighting its looks like just actinic i guess i should ask what type of lighting do you use?

  • i have big problem with evaporation :/

  • My tank gets over 90 f degrees in the summer. What type of light is that on top of your tank? Is it a T-5 HO with HQI ?

  • 00:50 wtf was that

  • your system is too complicated and too expensive for such a small tank

  • Was up @mrsaltwatertank Can u please tell me what is the best led lighting for a 33 gallon long tank to help the reef grow colorful and healthy thank u

  • Great tip. Keep up the good work!

  • im living in Indonesia..n is hot. anyway, my tank temp is about 33C. coz im using plenty PH. 1 resun king 4 for my return pump, 1 for my ATS, and 1 for skimmer.

and still there is 2 WM.

well, if i add a cooling it would decrease 2c, is there is any benefit...?

i hv a FOWLR. n now they all doin fine.

  • using a fan pointing to water sump like that.. how many degree could go down?

  • @ridwanlay It dropped my tank 2 degrees.

  • I bought some PC coolers. But the adapter is hot is this normal? Or should i turn it off every now and then?

  • badass video man, ima do that with my tank!!!

  • Great tank Mark! do you us a chiller too?

  • Hey Mark.

I live in Australia and it can get humid and fairly hot in summer.

Do you still think these fans could benefit me or is a chiller the way to go?

  • I have the same exact fan in my sump, lol.

  • how do you power the fans through the transformer?

  • @FONZiEownzU I just spliced in the power lines from the fans to the transformer. Plug in the transformer and VIOLA! the fans start pushing air.

  • @mrsaltwatertank Alright, I know what splicing means, but where on the transformer do you splice it into? Thanks

  • @FONZiEownzU the transformer has wires coming out of it...I spliced those wires to the fan's wires.

  • Ever thought of hooking the fans to a thermostat? Set it and forget it.

  • @SoundsFantastic mine are hooked to a controller which acts as a thermostat. When the temp goes above 78.8, the fans kick on. Below 78, they turn off.

  • @mrsaltwatertank What controller are you using?

  • @SoundsFantastic An AquaController AC III. (Its controlled off my iPhone too, which is super cool!)

  • where can I buy the transformer n what is the operation of it, does it allow u to adjust the fan to different speeds? Also, is the fan very quiet like it say because the last fan I bought was loud enough to drive me crazy. I'd like a relatively quiet fan. Thanks

  • @TheOneAndOnlyProdigy, Do a google search for (PST 1200 MF) and go the the link with x1up in the domain name. (You tube won't let me post external links here) And yes, it allows for various fan speeds. The fans are quiet as I don't run them at very quick speeds. You can go for a medium speed that should get the job done...just watch your temps!

  • they aren't cheap and unfortunately, they probably won't get cheaper since they are in a sense mini-refrigerators.

  • chillers are so expensive I wish they put them down in price
