I would have definitely skipped the Nismo header, especially if it has the pre cat. Nismo is baller, but it's way overpriced. And you wouldn't want to upgrade to a header thats precat could still break up and potentially ruin your engine

Ive been sitting on my XS headers for about a week now, but I have yet to get the exhaust. Where did you get yours from?
@the1whoB34T5 the nismo header for the 20-06 spec V has been discontinued for a while.. the exhaust is a waste of money compared to the Greddy and stromung
I got an 05 SER with a Borla Catback for the 02 + Sentra Qr25 enginges and think it sounds just as good check out my vids if u wanna c my bcb exhaust ..
Well it doesn't have a system similar to Toyota or Honda they have a basicly a two stage cam that kicks in a a certian RPM, nissan has a continously variable system that changes the timing all throughout the rev range. That change in sound you hear at 5,000RPM is a two stage intake manifold that opens up.
Nicest Sounding Exhaust tone on youtube so far, But i think its cuz the camera caught the car at low rpm where it sounds the nicest, it passes the camera right when it shifts, if im wrong the thing sounds beautiful
I want to get a 2004 black then swap the new qr25 07 spec v engine in, but that's alot of money so i'll just save up and get the new 07 spec v once i'm done with college.

Because the OBX header is $155 and the Nismo header is $650, or $825 with the pre-cat =) I have an OBX header and its great!

but the nismo is 50 state legal(unlike the obx), gives more power, has a nissan warranty, and won't rust after a year or two...
