Okay first this is outdated old not recent. Youtube has made drastic changes to there view counting system it is now different.The way Youtube counts views is different  from 1 to about 310 because anybody can refresh the page and get a view, even the person who posted the video. But as soon as it hits 310 or so it starts to look and count the ip address which need to be verified but you are repeating your ip address so it will not give you another view.

Since 31 of august. to 1st september ..started to 'lower' my channelviews on 2 accounts'...

1st channel: from 40.193 to the very low number 117

2nd channel: from 6.000+ to the very low number 32.

This process happened from 31 august till 1st of september.

I have no software to increase my views. I just posted them and linked them to my website. 32.4% of my views come from my external website which is the largest grouping. The rest are evenly distributed. You tube froze them and it has nothing to do with software or anything like that. You Tube suggested I pay for advertising. In other words they froze my videos because they want advertising dollars to unfreeze them. So if you're having the same problem that's what's going on.

Once you get to a certain number of views (around 300 I think) youtube checks the stats to see where the traffics coming from. If the program notices anything funny like too many views coming from the same IP address it will slow down the counter. They have been known to internally flag accounts which are caught which are created by the same user and used to increase views. This goes with rating's as well. So Im warning you all in advance before you mess your account up.

There may also be the problem that some who "hate" You Tube intentionally watch some videos in a manner that they don´t get views "too much". There are unfortunately tricks to do harm. youtube has a system in which, if not enough unquie viewers (ie is you keep watching your own video) it will freeze the views untill the number of different people watch the video, so in most cases, around 300 views. You can always reupload it if your still having trouble.
