what kind of rims are you using to extend the overall width of your savage flux? i need something to stabilize my flux during high speeds and track running, thxs
im pretty sure a double engined tmaxx or savage could kick the living shit out of any electric truck. put a high performanced big blocks in there and good fucking luck to the flux and say your prayers thers a new sheriff in town.
DAMN!!! That was nice I mean I love my Savage, but that Flux is crazy fast I just have to invest in one next year, but for an electric truck I mean it is fucking fast DAMN!!
@JoHNiTeez I know you could make a electric car or truck fast, but it took a ton of money back in the days, but now with the Flux rtr it's a whole new story. Back then 20-30 mph for a electric truck was fast or kind of, but this is a new era for electric trucks 50-60+ out the box is new and Hpi didn't do electric in early 2000 I don't think so because I bought my Savage 21 in 2002 brand new. But i'm happy and like I said i'll try electric for a while, but nitro will always be in my veins.
good driving; did you do something to the rear end (use lower wt shock oil, or none at all.) The rear is hoppy, maybe intentional to prevent from flipping?
wow you are a great driver! i drive ep brushless buggy1/10 scaleyou drive great you should make a skate park bash vid ill promise to coment if you make one! great work
Yea i went from a K4.6 Savage X to the flux today , and IMHO, FLUX ALL THE WAY! except i do miss the roar of the engine.... smoke i can do without but when your flooring the flux u always feel like your not going as fast as u could be because there no sound haha :P anyways if you were considering getting the flux over your current savage i would say yes to do so.
I think you need to put some thicker oil in the rear shocks. THe rear was bouncing around a lot. Shifting some of the weight to the rear wouldn't hurt either, seemed kinda nose heavy. Overall an awesome truck. Got a similar one (custom converted an XL to brushless)

@civicmaneg6
for electric?
pretty sure electric has been WAY faster for a year or 2 now,, notice the gas trucks are cheaper???
with LIPO battery nothing beats electric instant full tork,, that HP will do a standing double if ya want it to,, kinda ghey but it would do it

Nice driving! I'll stick with my Savage. It wouldn't be the same without the sound & smell. The Flux is a sweet truck though.
