boss is great but not sure of the super overdrive though i have the boss metal zone and im pretty sure you can get the same type a tone if not better depending on the amp and pick-ups you have.

hey u said u hav ethe metal zone? so do i but i cant seem to get a good setting for it. my 3 thick strings sound soo low and my three thin strings sound sooo high and teh sound really gives me headache. i have a espsvstandard with emg 81s

i dont know alexi is pretty dam good he devoted his life to guitar at 16. If you watch some of there live performances alexi always gets his solos down lots of bands fuck up and have to improvise.
