The hike was great. The water is awful cold. At the time my girlfriend and I made the hike. We were both playing and horse playing around the lake we both ended up in it. Got out fasten than we fall in. We got dried off fast and changed too, but that was half the fun

that lake is only thawed a couple months out of the year and even then it must be huvering around 35 degrees I imagine. your nuts !! lol...

It's not mentioned but that lake is at an altitude of over 11,700 feet and its fed by melting snow. Its very, very cold.
