I love Billys drumming he seems to get caught up in it alot, very agressive and emotional drummer imo. The man is only young and he's fucking precise and the boy got groove. Each drummer in their own right have been great for that period of time for the band and I think Billy suits this era of DIllinger more than Gil ever could. Fuck I need to learn how to play that clean section.

I dunno. I loved demitri and thought his style and performance in CI and earlier were amazing, but I think their last two CDs would have been worse if Greg wasn't on them. Greg is so much more versatile. Although demitri's last scream on 43% burnt always makes my hairs stand on end. It sounds like his vocal cords are ripping out of his throat.

I agree completely. It's almost as if he's playing 'by the rules' of being a Dillinger drummer. He just seems like a Chris Pennie Jr., and the drum parts sound like they were taken directly from Miss Machine. They were at their apex when Gil joined.

While I totally agree that Gil was insanely creative with his drumming, I was quick to judge him. I was upset by Chris' leaving the band, so I wasn't willing to open up to the new drummer. I don't think you should judge Billy's drumming off this one song, there's a good chance he'll surprise with the rest of the tracks :]
