Craig, I bought the IC-7000 a few weeks ago, and I love it. I had a small LCD Tv that made a nice mate to the 7000. The bad thing I did was to buy a Radio Shack cable. It had to be returned because it was simple crap. I used a high end shielded RCA jumper and cut it for my own high quality 1/8" plug. I also got the Tigertronics USB sound interface for my PC. It is a nice unit to have if you want to work a lot of digital modes. Joe KQ4BX
Very nice. I'm not sure why your 7000 screen looked erratic. like you had a bad video cable making noise on the connection. But then your remote monitor was beautiful. I would have liked to see you configure and tune your IC-7000 for RTTY. Still, liked your video, good job. 73 KQ4BX
@killthemessengers That effect you can see is an effect caused by the camera. You can still see a little bit of what looks like video disturbance on the bigger screen but you're right it's not as obvious on the bigger screen. The screen on the radio would look fine if you were there in person. It depends on the brightness, refresh rate, pixel count, frame rate of the camera etc..
