When my iphone contract is up in a few months, I'll consider this as my mobile internet device while getting virgin mobile as my phone for about $7/month. I am at home mostly so having expensive data plan on my iPhone really isn't worth it anymore. I don't mind paying $20/month for data plan for Tab vs much more for iphone data plan. This will be big savings!

CNET reviews bad thing about Galaxy Tab as a Supersized Android Phone, what about iPad? isn´t a supersized iPod? what I like the most about Galaxy Tab it´s all the extra hardware that supports, additionally Android it´s a very open OS that will let developers as me make almost anything. I really respect Apple, but their products are made for a more passive market where people only do common things, 1 at the same time (not multiprocessing support)

I have the iPad, and while I like it very much, this device makes more sense. I also have the Samsung Vibrant, so they should go together nicely. 3G built-in on t-mobile, or 4G on Sprint (No AT&T!) The screen dimensions are much better for widescreen movies - iPad lacks big time here. Better size for handling. Will be better stand/dock and case options. Dual camaras!!! and Flash!!! (Camera AND Flash 10.1. MicroSD!! Damn! This is not an iPhone copy - it's an iPhone FIX!

I really like this device because of it's size. I love my iPad but I'm beginning to find maybe it's too large to read on a packed train, without the whole world looking at what I'm typing. This will be the ideal thing to have but not to replace my iPad. Ps I love the fact that you can make calls from it as well. Just needs to come down in price and I'm sold!

@Tanman831 might be too big for that. Take for an example a standard touchscreen phone is around 3,5" screen and they are often quite large for a phone, so this would sure be a pain to carry in a pocket, but very portable for having in a bag, backpack etc..
