Appreciate your concern, Really I do!...But I was born with yellow jaundice & the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck, in children's hospital for some time for my first days on earth...then grew up to drink motor oil..gasoline...bleach, lived through that & a few concussions,plus things unmentionable....So I have some toxicity immunities and other high tolerances...but hey I mean well! ...lol...Thanks Again!

Even if it is stopped I think you are going to see oil film on the water for a long time. I would guess it will be seeping out of the swamps, banks and soil for years to come and washing off the miles of oil soaked leaves, tree bark, rocks, etc. There is no way they can dig up that much earth to get rid of all the oil that is soaked into the banks, swamps, islands, etc. You see oil film on any lake during a busy boating day from the outboard motors how much more here. Especially when it rains.
