This is such a free song...it seems to mark the perfect mid 60s to early 70s song. it is different from some of their other abbey road songs such as maxwells hammer and octopus garden, but that is what makes the beatles such a great band...they are diverse and can appeal to all age groups and walks of life

this album was produced by George Martin and his son. George produced all other Beatles albums except Let it Be, if anyone was a 5th Beatle it was him.

There were 3 overdubs with John, Paul & George singing on each so you're really hearing 9 Beatles here. I've done a lot of recording myself and it's quite difficult to get it to sync up well even when singing to your own voice. All 9 voices being so tight is amazing, especially without any instruments to mask any goofs.
