  • I have a set a Vance&Hines on my 09 V-Max, I love the sound, the improvement was crazy pricey though.

  • yes goooooooooddddddd to be continued

  • There's a lot of ppl selling $1500 V-Max Exhausts that probably don't want us to see this. I emptied the Cat, and removed some of the stock baffles. It looks stock. But with the air box mod and some tuning, my bike went from 177hp/113tq to 199hp/131tq. It's an animal. Nice Work!

  • sounds awesome!

  • i bet this sounds sweet siting at a ton (100mph)

  • hooooooooooo may seweeeet Jesus...............lovleyyyyyyyyyyy...........

  • Man....i wanti this exaust O.O

  • I have a new on on the test block now and should have a Video soon. It will be tuned without a muffler so the user can put on what ever they want! STAY TUNED!

  • @MsRandiGalves Great job! Did it improve the performance any or just sound??

  • @hemiluver

I really did. I did a dyno test and the number was up by about 10HP. My new exhaust should easily reach 184HP mark. Keep watching as in the next two weeks. I will have a new Video~~~!

  • looks and sounds great. suprised it doesnt have a tuned exhaust...damn emissions

  • HondaSniper:

No, the ECU had enough room in the variables to make the corrections. Wait until spring of 2011 as I am working on a entirely CAT removal system...

  • had to retune the bike?

  • Thats a job well done!, The best sounding v-max ive heard...well done!, looks great too!

  • That is one bad-ass Max, madam. Wish I had those kind of skills. Here's hoping the weather warms up for ya so you can hit the road with that beast!

  • Hi Randi, great work girl and an awesome sound!

Hopefully the snow disappears fast so you can really test everything on the road!

  • Brian:

Thanks for the kind words. It was fun to see just how it would come out, since it was winter here and I had nothing else to do. This spring, I will get to the local Harley dealer and give a run with this configuration. I too am wondering how this changed the performance as this is the only change I have done so far. I am planning on installing a Power Commander V later, a custom 4 into 1 collector, wide wheel & Big Air kit. Your ZX12 is a really nice ride & you too be safe!

    Randi

  • Sounds damn good. I'm a welder/fabricator too so I appreciate what you're doing here. I'm wondering what affect this setup has on air/fuel mix and if the computer compensates. What's the chance of you putting this setup on a dyno and sharing your results? By the way, I have a ZX-12R. Shiny side up!

  • Looks like exhaust is coming out around the end pipe.

  • It is. I didn't get it sealed before the video. New seal installed and no leaks...

  • pleeeassse post a video of you roosting that tire

  • Yea,,, As they say, Loud pipe (in this case) saves lives...

  • I can imagine the Harley guys when they pull up next to you at a stoplight. Yikes.
