alright i have this thing called a dazzler that converts video from my old camera, and i put the data on a blank disk but know i want to edit it on windows movie maker and it won't let me put the data from the disk on the movie maker...

Another way to speed up your pc is to delete your browsing history. In internet explorer go to tools, then delete browsing history and just delete the things that you don't need anymore.

Ok, there is lots of things you can do to speed up your pc, firstly remove the programs you don't need using add/ remove programs in the crontrol panel.

Then on the start menu go to accessories, system tools and disk cleanup. Run disk clean up, and then it will give you the option to defragment your hard drive which you should say yes to.

AVG antivirus, ad-aware and spybot are good for protection, you can get these from download . com. They can slow down your computer slightly but you cn turn them off, just make sure you back up your important data to usb, cd or external hard drive.

FOr a free photo editing program try a free program called the GIMP. You can get this from gimp . org/windows or sourceforge . net. It's similar to adobe photoshop. For free calls go to skype . com. Skype lets you call other skype users around the world for free. I really recommend it.

Have you tried plugging the guitar into an amp and then plugging the amp into your computer? Other than that I can't suggest anything other than a good audio recording program called audacity, which you can download from download . com. You can use audacity to record it, then any other program to edit it or add effects.

If you have ubuntu linux as an operating system there are hundreds of free audio editing programs you can download for free with the pre installed synaptics package manager.

Have you tried defragmenting the hard drive, disk clean up, deleting history and internet files, downloading spybot or adaware to get rid of spyware, avg antivirus, remove programs you don't use with add remove feature, run just one program at a time (don't have lots of programs running in the background), upgrading your pc, changing internet supplier, changing your operating system? Full system reboot. Any of these might help, if you have any questions about any of the above please ask.

Quicksilverscreen . com is good for movies, or it used to be. Veoh is a good one, there are a lot of channels in the uk where you can catch up on the latest 7 days programmes for free like bbc imedia and channel 4 but I don't know if they have that in the US. Itunes is good, they have free stuff. Youtube is good for british comedy shows. Just google for free tv and movie links. Don't download any software unless it has been personally recommended to you by a friend.

Sorry I don't understand the question? When you say move do you mean from one computer to another. When you say building texture what program are you using? And why don't you just abbreviate the file name? If this is specialist animation or design software I'm afraid I can't help you but there may be some experts on youtube in that kind of software, just run a search under the software name. Most people are happy to help, I did this with Linux.

You can buy on ebay a vhs to pc converter for £15, you just use that - it's really easy. Its a usb that plugs one end in your pc the other with leads into your vcr. They normally retail for around £30 to £40 in pc world.
