  • Ive gotta question why dont they make the dump body the same width of the outermost tires on the rear? is it a safety thing or what?

  • Do you know of any of these trucks for sale? We're looking for the exact same truck.

  • What a great company hayes was. there slogan "built to last" still rings true to this day.

  • @hockeyguy38 haha dont forget the Detroit as the power plant

  • Holy shit! I want one! The truck is so big it can't fit in one lane lol

  • wow that's one heavy duty dump truck to see on the road!

  • Awesome!!! I think I just blew my load!

  • good engine detroit diesel 12V71

  • Awesome truck! Can I have it?...just kidding...but seriously ill take it. I need more grocery room :-)

  • I want one

  • Nasty, I love it.

  • that is one nice truck. 5 stars!!

  • It has an Allison, same as a regular logging truck HDX.

  • Indeed! OLYMPIC truck, heading to SANDSPIT.

  • Right on. Nice truck you should look at the off highway trucks in the upcoming Apr. 22 Ritchie Bros. Chemainus sale. Some good looking stuff on the website. Thats a tidy looking HDX that you have there. Thats becoming a rare occourence seeing one of those on a ferry. Only in QC or Rupert. Nice work.

  • Just curious if you know how the Ritchie Bros. action went? I was hoping to head down there but I ended up working, would of been nice to grab a decently priced piece of equipment

  • Here's the story. I negelcted to go, it was right across the water. Here is why I didn't go. The last Chemainus sale 4 years or so back went HIGH, and this year was no exception. Anything that could be used in the construction or other industries went HIGH. A lot of internet bids. Good friends from the island here were letting me know on their cel phones

  • That EX370-5 excavator went for $105,000 I believe, all the 200 excavators were $50,000 up, my friend with the UH171 in my video bid on the EX400-1 backspar hoe that was in the sale, he went to $28,000, bids stalled for 30 secs then took off to $35,000!!! needless to say there was no deals. The Kobelco SK370 was loose as a goose and it went for $30,000 I heard. Pickup trucks were very high. Although the logging gear went pretty low other than the showcase Madill equipment.

  • My buddy Jack at Steel Paciiic Recycling in Duncan said a bunch of equipment went to Ecuador! It goes to show the variety of RB buyers. Truly a global audience. But no deals there. I didnt expect any either. The Prince George sale upcoming is the biggest ever for the same reasons here and it should be good. Vancouver too, but sometimes a good deal there but that is normally a high sale too. Good fiend here bought a Morooka MST1500 8yard crawler dumper in good shape for $9200. Thats my 2 cents

  • hmmm. on second glance that may be one of the Welch's Olympic Forest Products truck

  • which ferry is this? Thats a Bjornson fleet number on the door they have a fleet of rock trucks all starting with an RT designation

  • ohhh man u need to get more videos of these trucks man sick stuff

  • I added a video of a PACIFIC P16 yesterday, did you see it yet? I have a really neat video of a 1954 EUCLID in action, too, but I don't know how to upload it from a DVD......

  • Convert it to mpeg or avi, then upload it. We'll wait - trust us.

  • I did a crude conversion, and posted them already!

  • This guy's got some awesome footage here
