no, hes not seriously i know this will sound stupid but if you got him to play anything other than multi team or 'easy' gametypes i really dont think he would do well. You say he is better than most pros. Maybe in halo 2 which i will admit he was better at by the looks of it, but you have to bare in mind that a montage is just his best clips, it doesnt make you good to have a good montage.
