You know, I just noticed that Gabriel Angelo said they "destroyed" Ulkair. You can't destroy daemons, the best you can do in the 40k universe is banishing them back to the warp.

its difficult as hell to fully destroy a demon

normally you can only ever destroy its physical body in real space, but its essence returns to the warp and can come back again later

the only one time i knew imperials truly destroyed a demon was when one began to possess a statue on a shrine world, the navy blew up the statue while it was half possessed, so the demon being stuck between worlds at that time was vaporized with the statue

@KommissarKvC tyranids are nothing compared to the full might of chaos...ya know you can kick a demon back into the warp but the blasted thing would come out of the warp again and terrorize the galaxy...a tyranid once dead, stays dead, it doesn't come back to haunt you like creepy demons, i love chaos for its sheer madness and unending hordes of demons, heretics and madmen + the dark gods are some twisted mother****ers that make satan look like an innocent child by comparison

@TraySamurai sorry i didn't named specific tyranid units, yeah commander units like the swarmlords or hive tyrants do come back to lead the ravenous horde...but like i said, tyranids aren't like demons, if you "destroy" a demon you only send it back into the warp but if you kill a tyranid, like say a hive tyrant, the hive mind will only make another clone of it so its not like the original would come back to haunt you, instead its a clone with the experiences of the previous

@warbossgrotsmasha23 its funny because tyranids will devour their corpses and they will be reborn as yet more tyranids, learn your lore, also daemons require sacrifices to be coaxed from the warp again, and tyranids have organisms capable of thoroughly owning daemons... THEY HAVE TITAN KILLING ORGANISMS FOR CHRIST SAKE

@BloodRavenpred i was too lazy to type that about the tyranids :)..yes i know, it would be stupid to let all that biomatter waste away when you can recycle it and use it to make more warriors or something else but the fact is daemons aren't biological creatures, they can live forever, they're born from negative emotions, in the warp daemons are unbeatable but in the material universe daemons can be "killed" only to be banished back into the warp, i know quite a lot about warhammer 40k lore ;)

Well you can upgrade your basic chaos space marines squad in chaos rising (multiplayer) with the icon of Tzeentch which gives them inferno bolts, but that's the closest you'll probably get to a Rubric marine. Maybe in the next dawn of war they'll include them along with the beserkers...well at least i hope since i would prefer having the real units instead of just having to wield their weapons.

I preferred Soulstorm over DoW2, but i like DoW2 enough to buy Retribution, imo the multiplayer is it's weakest point, i wanted to play Dawn of War, not Company of Heroes with W40K slapped on it, The Last Stand is great though, i hope they completely revamp it with a higher levl cap, several more heroes, new maps & different guys every wave, it got so predictable.
