"white outs" are nooo fun, I still remember the one I was stuck in when I was a teen, that one was the worst. I've been in a few others but the first one was the worst one..scary stuff!

geeze, now thats cool. Where i live in southwest england, we got just under a foot of snow one night and everything shut down, roads, airports, rail, even shops and schools. Britain is 100% useless and inept when it comes to snow...

The snow is dangerous as it limits viability to a few feet, I have seen it so bad I could not see past my hood. White outs can be extremely cold into the negatives with windchill. Weather like this makes for some vehicles not want to start so your stuck. If this happens hope there is shelter near by or stay in your car, because if you walk you could get lost or hit by a vehicle that cant see you.

ah memories i used to live in richland newyork my dad was the preacher at richland christian church and it was like this every winter ive got pictures of me at 7 touching the rim of a 9 foot basketball poll where the plows piled it up in the parking lot

i live in Pulaski, NY and we get this everyday in the winter. this past winter we got 5-6 feet in one day. after snow plows go by, the sides of the streets look like the great wall of china made of snow.

I visited Wisconsin one winter that was cold but without snow. The locals told me they were disappointed to not get a blizzard. You know they get very prepared for it and love the outdoors. To me it was unbearably cold because I was not used to it, but the locals were wearing light jackets wishing it would get colder. I told them they were crazy, but it is all of matter of taste.

Lake Effect Snow is a thing of beauty. Can't see across the street. I live in Niagara, Canada and we get it every once in a while. But you guys get it more. Lucky lol.
